Which team will Radja be playing for next season?
Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
Rumors continue to persist about his departure , possibly linking up with Spalletti at Inter next season. But today, the unthinkable happened when we were linked with him and apparently our board and senior players appreciate him a lot and want him despite his hate for Juventus. This transfer is something I don't see happening in a million years but after the Higuaín and Pjanić sagas, it's got me to really put some weight to these rumors.
Most likely won't happen as Radja is too emotional to do a heel-esque move like this. That said, he's been the best mid in the league this season(hence an exclusive thread for him) and I could easily see him play for a new team next year. He won't be short of suitors for sure and wherever he goes, he will improve their midfield instantly. Remaining at Roma isn't ruled out either.

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
dream signing for me tbh
unlike Griezmann, etc, I think he's perfect for the PL
I have a feeling he will join Chelsea
Juventus would be perfect for him but I really don't want to see him join another Serie A club, tbh I'd love it if he stayed at Roma, but with their selling mentality they will fly him business class to whoever if they offer 60+ million

The amount of space they leave behind constantly chasing after balls they won't win

?
Pogba would be dying to have a partner like Nainggolan
On paper, that would be the best midfield duo in England without a doubt

They are both too aggressive, in a midfield 2 it would not work.
433 it would be fine though.

Never understood why Milan fans must always try reverse jinx on Inter, yet we shouldn't be afraid to someone.
He ' ll stay to Roma, it's easy to image it. He loves the place, the club, and Roma will not have FFP troubles again getting the 2nd CL place.

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
I don't even think it would work in a midfield three. Xavi and Iniesta had positional sense even if they weren't defensively minded in the slightest. Pogba and Nainggolan both would attack with reckless abandonment and defend with reckless aggressiveness the
Either way, them as a midfield two is the most disgusting FIFA idea I've ever heard

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
Nainggolan has fantastic positioning, he works well everywhere. He even deputized as right back for Roma and did it well. There no real weaknesses in his midfield game. But if you put Pogba in there then you need an anchor for it to work best.

Kante-Nainggolan would be great for Chelsea. Similar to De Rossi/Strootman-Nainggolan.

I agree, this isn't about Nainggolan more that how he would fit together as a partner with Pogba.
You'd need another alongside them, as a two in the bog standard 4231 I just can't see it working.

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
i wouldn't replace any of Marchisio, Pjanic, Khedira with Nainggolan, don't want him at Juventus.
I agree with Mole that is a bad idea to pair him with Pogba.
I don't think that Nainggolan has a great workrate, i think that he covers less ground than the usual midfielder. Just cause the guy looks tough as fck and has some intense duels, and pulls some amazing tackles here and there doesn't mean he has a great workrate overall.
In fact, i see him a lot of times when he can't track back, because he's tired, and he leaves space. And i saw in many games, he's substituted after 80 minutes, probably because he's full of smoke lungs are not tough enough to handle the effort.

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
He will never join us, there hasn't been a more anti-juve football personality since prime Zeman. Of course I would take him at Juve though, he is better than Vidal.

Agreed. Glad we're in agreement here. I also think he's better than Vidal.
And going by some of the posts here, I doubt people have watched Nainggolan regularly. When Strootman/De Rossi were injured, Nainggolan played the holding midfield role for Roma and did an excellent job there.
This season he's been an absolute beast imo. Would be a coup for anyone that signs him.

Re: Radja Nainggolan transfer speculation
If it were up to him solely, he'd be a Roma player for sure next season.
Where we finish will have a lot of bearing on his future. We place 2nd and I think we'll hold onto him. If we finish 3rd,the uncertainty of the qualifying round may be enough for the club to cash in on him.
Of course, another dimension to this is the future of Paredes, who is most likely to leave out of all our midfielders. If he goes, I think Ninja stays and vice-versa.
Either way, if a offer comes in that we just can't ignore, I just hope it comes from abroad. We really have to stop strengthening our rivals.
