Because of Perez's relationship with PSG's El Khelaifi, besides, it can be true, even if Benitez has told the club that he would like Verrati, 1) it doesnt mean we will sign him, 2) his agent will use it to renew verratti again like every summer

L'Equipe and all other Spanish sources have reported Madrid's interest.Its not just GDM.It isnt coming exclusively from him.

And Verratti's agent is Italian plus GDM's close to Bronzetti so he's probably getting his infos from there.

Marca havent reported it. They have been by far the best Madrid source for 2 years now. AS just quoted Sky Italia, thats it.

This is not really about who got the best source lol. Someone has been blaming to the medias about it, otherwise otherwise it wouldnt reported across medias like that.

Looking at how its medias of 3 countries, two of which not being spanish and usually without known based madrid journalists, its very likely verratti's agent lol. His player is in france hence lequipe, he is italian hence GDM and di fraudzio
