Agreed.Betty La Fea wrote:Adriano is the best shout.
Adu was garbage hype machine, and Pato is too. I remember looking in shock when people were saying he would be a better choice than Fred or Jo for Brazil. He isn't even better than damião. Just goes to show how far the NIKE machine goes.

Re: Biggest fall from stardom?
Probably sauna damage
Adriano would probably also be my choice to stay on topic. Though personal tragedies and what not combined with what seemed to be a lacking attitude didn't help one bit. Can't help but wonder what he could've become if he didn't suffer those losses. What a cannon he could pull out.

Re: Biggest fall from stardom?
Agree on Adriano. That guy was a world class striker at the age of 23 and then all came crashing down. And it went a long way down.
Yea and Freddy Adu is exactly like Pato, yup totally valid comparison. I mean Adu was one of the fastest players to reach 50 goals in Serie A and then suffered from constant injuries, right?!

Those Finns smh.
I can literally picture them in my mind, running out of the sauna into the snow, whipping each other with branches while reciting dribbling and key pass stats.

Quite literally from stardom to not even a has been , just bottom . Didn't even remember what happened to him after Roma , i had to check wiki .
Apparently he's not playing football anymore , though he hasn't officialy retired yet . As if there's any need to confirm it

He cost us the title that pleb. Will never forget that scrub scoring the two winners in consecutive weeks. The Villa one hurt the most, I think was like the 94th minute.
