In the U.S. he certainly was. He was doing subway commercials with Pele. All over EPSN. All any MLS fans talked about. it was ridiculous.

ganso....him and neymar were on the rise together, and some teams were close to shelling some major cash for him, but their (his and neymar's) paths seem to have gone opposite directions
