Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Was their first game though no? the effect of https://i.imgur.com/IRvyPm4.png hadn't come into effect yet. Obviously hope the new Mass Effect is as good as the first two though.

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Some info about the new Expansion, from some German magazine, was translated by somebody on CD Projekt Red forums.
-quite a few bosses, every last unique and in comparison to the base game quite difficult
- no new region but the map will be extended in the north and north-east of Novigrad. The mood reminds him of Witcher 1
- we will visit the Oxenfurt academy
- he talks a bit about the runeword mechanics:
A special merchant builds runewords out of three runes and burns them into our sword or armour. We can level that runeword with (a lot of) gold. The runewords have unique effects, for example burning enemies explode when they die.
- there will be 5 new talents.
- new items including one new set (which enhances signs)
- high level variant of the school of the viper set
- we will have now four slots for potions instead of two
Overall the Gamestar editor described it as "Enormous, full of variety and superbly written- a superb addon for a small price"

How much does it cost? It's definitely a good game but the combat is dated by now. Storyline, characters, dialogue are great, choice actually matter and quests are all good. Check price on Steam and compare. Pretty sure it will be cheaper on Steam.

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Yea enemy numbers are greater in various missions. You'll notice the bandits etc are also more when you attack them.
But after you clear white orchard, you'll get really good and will find it easier than stick n bones (previous level).
Towards the end of the game, I barely took damage from monsters or eredin n co because it improves your ability greatly.

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Expansion level are 30-35 btw, so you can do that on your finish playthroughs as that's what it is designed for.
That's what i'm going to do anyway, i really doubt i'll finish this NG+ playthrough in time for the expansion. Just doing because i feel like it lol.
