Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
They had a dragon in Witcher 2 (Saskia) ffs they can't not have on in Witcher 3.
Remember that Witcher Contract: Dragon. Turned out it was a forktail https://2img.net/u/3313/22/97/24/avatars/58-27.jpg

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
I knew straight away it wasn't actually going to be a dragon.
You are right M99 there was a dragon in Witcher 2 but it was Saskia lol, so not really a real dragon .
I find it unlikely tbh, it's just a different type of fantasy to say Skyrim where they are a lot more common.
Also it was mentioned in Witcher 2 that Geralt said that Witchers don't hunt dragons because in the lore they don't actually attack humans.
I would like it btw i just find it unlikely, on the other hand i would be shocked if Iorveth isn't back.

I like the fact Dragon are that rare tbh. Nearly every medieval setting games have dragons and Witcher changed that for the right reasons for me.
Also that reason Mole posted fits perfectly. GOATralt

Dragons are too generic imo, weird creatures in Witcherverse > Dragons.

Some fans are convinced they were dinosaurs lol.
Dragons are not generic at all when done right. Witcher writers can make a GOAT story about a dragon and have myriad of choices on how to deal with it.

If I remember from the books, wyverns are considered small dragons. And the game has them

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
They are lizards mate.
Ordinary folk often mistake wyverns for dragons. Witchers, however, immediately recognize these flying lizards, which tread upon the ground on two heavily-muscled legs. They also know that when fighting this beast, they must avoid the venomous stinger at the end of its tail and its jaws that bristle with deadly teeth.
