Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Could've sworn that I saw Witcher 3 on sale with 30-something % off on PS store yesterday. I thought it was unusually cheap for such a relatively new game, but I didn't think any more of it. It says 27% today, though Not that I had any intention of purchasing a second copy of the game.

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
I know it was 25% off in PSN in UK, didn't make much sense considering it has sold quite well maybe they are trying to get people to buy it before the expansions?

Yeah, but my point is that I'm almost certain that the game was cheaper when I checked yesterday. I remember wondering about why they decided to cut the price by such a large %. I think it was close to 40% off. Checked again today, and it's only 27% off. Maybe it was just a typo that they fixed since yesterday? I don't know. Wouldn't be the first time they've made mistakes that perceptive people have taken advantage of

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
thread on NeoGaf right now
“I’m employee of CDProjekt Red and I have some bad news to share with you. Our management is probably talking with Electronic Arts about potential take over. Electronic Arts representatives are currently visiting our studio and meeting with top management. We are not going to release any game soon, so for sure it’s not about any publishing deal, so the only possible reason for EA guys being here is that they want to buy us.”

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
ppl are saying he only refuted that they weren't signing a publishing deal
not an ought-right acquisition
I for one would welcome yearly releases of the witcher with new gwent card stats
it's not like EA have a history ofcannibalizing buying talented studios

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Not talented studios who have a franchise which has sold over 10m though.
Also GOG is very successful ( those who don't know a poor mans Steam ) which they own.
Doubt they need the money to do anything lol.

Re: Witcher 3 - Part 2
Nah EA wouldn't buy a studio that specialises in single player games.
Also CD projeckt key seems like a humble enough studio to not become a faction for a warlord

That's true but as great as Bioware games pre EA were none of them were as successful sales wise as W3 was. They are not in a position where they need to join up with EA at all.
Don't worry about it lol, unless you secretly want it to be annualized

Was their first game though no? the effect of https://i.imgur.com/IRvyPm4.png hadn't come into effect yet. Obviously hope the new Mass Effect is as good as the first two though.
