Witcher 3
The Witcher 3 will introduce "a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history." The setting is "30 times larger" than previous Witcher games, requiring players to catch a sailboat for some locations and ride horseback to others.
The Witcher 3 has been described as "20% bigger than Skyrim." CD Projekt RED anticipates 100 hours for The Witcher 3. The Witcher 3 will feature the new REDengine 3 game engine.
REDengine 3, developed by CD Projekt RED, is designed specifically for nonlinear RPGs set in vast, open-world environments.
REDengine helps to eliminate many of the game development trade-offs previous developers faced, allowing The Witcher 3 developers to create "an open environment with a complex, multi-thread story.
"As in the prior two Witcher games, players are presented with a complex story featuring multiple choices bearing associated consequences. But REDengine allows for a complex story line without sacrificing the design of the virtual world. Consequently, The Witcher 3 features no loading screens, providing players a vast visual environment that allows players to freely explore and roam.
One of my anticipated games i have seen for next gen by far.

Might be because the first two were on PC for majority of the time.
They did port the 2nd one to the 360 with all the DLC and updates that they made to the PC version.
I'm playing Witcher 2 at the moment, i advise anyone has a PC or 360 and likes RPG to play it.
I haven't played the first one though, i hope they make that available for console at some point just so i can play it as my PC is shit lol.

WOW, that looks incredible! I loved the witcher 2 but felt it was too short so this looks like exactly what I want!
Witcher 2 was really good except for the fighting, that was horrible!

Re: Witcher 3
Too short? i haven't done it yet but it has like 40 hours of gameplay with all the story and side missions lol. ( unless you are one of those guys that like the Skyrim amount of content)
Also disagree on the combat if i'm honest, its very strategic you can't just run into battle like a chicken with its head cut off and you have to plan your attacks decided what magic, potions and weapons will be best served.
The Story in any case >>>>>>>

Re: Witcher 3
The story is amazing, and Yes, I like Skyrim length games.
The problem I found with combat is that when you get strong enough, you just use your strongest attack and no one can hit you because you knock them back every time, It made fighting way to easy and I only needed potions on rare occasions.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I had a blast fighting, it's just, Combat can be so much better. I felt that was the only let down. I think there was only one fight where I died multiple times, the rest were pretty easy, even the boss fights.

I saw and downloaded Witcher 1 as my shitty pc can just about run it.
That way at least I can experience the whole story going into Witcher 3.
