Not to sound like a hater, but i lost the notion of fun in FPS shooters quite a while ago, most of them nowadays seem eerily similar to one another

That looks nothing like most FPS though, it's an arena shooter for starters which is drastically different to most FPS that are out there.

I'm pretty skeptical of the multiplayer (Doom), not because it looks pretty awesome but can the average console player cope with its pace? The history of arena shooters on consoles doesn't really indicate otherwise :/

If there's anyone that could bring an Arena Shooter to consoles it is id though.
