Don't know he's struggling with injures and the Seahawks defense is much better than what he saw today. Then you have Wilson, who actually knows when to throw a ball away instead of taking a sack,  playing great all season. And they are at home? I'm taking the Seahawks

If Rodgers wasn't playing injured I say Packers have a very legitimate chance to beat the Seahawks.

With him playing injured though I'm just not sure. I doubt it, really. Rodgers was great today considering the circumstances, but I've seen him play much, much better. Until later in the game he was doing some of the things Peyton did, missed some free guys, under threw, over threw. Didn't look like himself (and with his calf no one is surprised). Compensated for it with great play later in the game but I can't see him being able to get away with it against the Seahawks.

Not only that but we lost to them earlier this year too, when Rodgers wasn't injured Laughing

Also Rex going to the Bills. What was he thinking

Yeah it's gonna be much better for you up there with EJ Manuel and no 1st rounder. Falcons was the job to take.

Me and Nick said the same thing. He could have gone down to Atlanta and done what he does best and build a defense. They already have a QB and a few weapons. At the Bills he's pretty much in the same situation as he was at with the Jets. Looks like Todd Bowles is going to get that job now.

John Fox to Chicago seems like a pretty dumb too honestly. He seems average and dry to me and that's not what they need right now, especially with Cutler playing qb.

Bowles is flying in tonight for a 2nd interview with the Jets ahead of his Falcons interview. I hope they don't let him leave.

He's from Jersey as well like Quinn. But waiting for Quinn is too risky now that Denver needs a coach.

What do you think about the Texans drafts the last few years? It looks like we're hiring(or have hired) Mike Mccagnan for GM. Obviously JJ Watt but Hopkins seems like a really good pick. Swearinger seems good. Unsure on the rest.

They didn't

Haven't been much of a Woody Johnson fan the past few years but he's done everything right so far. Realized he has no clue about football, so he hired 2 lifetime football guys well respected across the league as consultants. Hired Mccagnan who at the very least is a football guy as well(and seems he's done well in drafts), not a fkn glorified accountant a la John Idzik.

Most importantly, LOVE the Bowles hire. Similar to, but also the anti-Rex, he's the one guy who blitzes more than Rex Ryan Cool . I like Dan Quinn just as much but I'm a little weary of assistants who have the same specialty as the HC(ie how much of that defense is Pete Carroll). Arians is an offensive head coach, he gave Bowles the reigns, so you know it was him. They also lost about 4-5 starters(Campbell, Dockett, Daryl Washington, Abraham) before the season on defense and he still had them 6th best.

Chan Gailey was an awful HC, but as an offensive coordinator I think he's solid. Had Tyler fn Thigpen throwing for 3000 yards in KC. Got the best season of CJ Spillers career out of him. However he's known to be conservative and the fact that he's been out of football for a couple seasons is a bit worrying.

49ers will promote Jim Tomsula as their next Head Coach. So their D-Coordinator Fangio seems to be out. Said he would leave if he or Mike Shanahan didn't get the job.

Raiders hire Jack Del Rio. I like it for them, he deserves another coaching chance.

On the Texans forum I visit there are a few people, who go more into depth on the draft than I do, that are happy he is gone. Outside of the first round our drafting has been pretty mediocre these last few seasons honestly. In the first we have drafted guys like Watt, Cushing, Duane Brown, etc. Afterr that we haven't gotten much out of the draft. This year our rookies had little to no impact, bar Blue, who did what most rbs that get 20+ carries in a game would have done. I liked some of the picks(Nix, Filo), but we'll have to see how they pan out. I also read somewhere that the Texans had the 3rd most ex players on other teams. Barwin's(2nd rder) last season with us was nothing short of crap. Then he goes and makes the probowl with the Eagles. A lot goes into making a draft work so I wouldn't just place the blame on one guy like some of our fans have.

Kubiak to Denver seems likely. He's pretty controlling with his offense so either him or Manning are going to give up some power.

Well John Idzik drafted like 12 players last draft and 8 of them were cut.

Not sure what having drafted players on other teams means. Most recent draft Jets took Jalen Saunders in the 4th round, cut him, Saints picked him up then he played well and even had a special teams TD with them. That's coaching, or guys just not fitting into a system(ie Darius Butler never fit with NE's zone scheme they ran 09-12, they cut him he became DPOTW and a solid CB for Indy).

Seems like mixed reviews, but he can't be worse than Idzik and Terry Bradway our former HORRIBLE GM who we fired but then let lead our scouting  good riddance. That's good enough for me.

edit: Bowles brings in Kacy Rodgers as our Defensive Coordinator. Fins fans are pissed about that one. He's the guy who turned Cam Wake, DeMarcus Ware, Starks, Solai into beasts.

Isn't that on Rick Smith?

Ed Reed then went to the Jets and had 3 picks in like 6 games. Clearly he's going into the Hall as a Jet.
