I'm just thankful for Jiopsi not being an NFL fan. The amount of threads. Good god.

Talked to others close to it that 87 has been singled out by league to target him on consistent basis for more push offs on him. Singled out

Pretty obvious. 6 OPI so far this season for something that happens on every play. The one today was straight up BS

^He's a Pats analyst though. "talked to someone close to it" is a nice way of validating a statement without anyone being able to question it. It may be true, but I'm gonna be skeptical.
Also check out Belichecks presser if you haven't. He was pissed. Responded to reporters questions with "what do you think?", "Ask the league about that"

I can understand him. The game has become so shady. Also not a fan of how you can't critique referees in sports at all, when it's obvious they're doing their job poorly.
I never seen him be so angry at the sideline before though

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
So... the refs who got removed from the Dallas - Washington game because they had bad officiating in a 49ers - Cards game have now been reassigned to refs Pats against Eagles...
Seriously, what is this shit? Can we ever get a break from the league.

Nah he got a finger around the bottom of his mask. I'm not 100% sure because the camera angles weren't good, but it looked like it to me.
Regardless, the Lions
Packers
what a comeback.
However I've lost any kind of optimism about post season with this Packers team. We're not much good.

Rodgers dived into his hand imo. Didn't even get grabbed from what I can see from replays.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
I'm not aware of NFL rules, is "diving into his hand" a case where you don't call a facemask?
It was difficult to tell from the angle of the replays. To me, he got a bit of Rodgers mask. I do think it was a close call and I wouldn't be surprised if it were wrong however. Going to enjoy the win regardless

A facemask os grabbing or taking control of the face mask. Lions didn't.

I'm well aware of what it is, I just thought that he had touched the mask. Watching some replays and zoomed in replays today it looks like the wrong call. That being said, I have to call Lions unlucky rather than berate the refs in this case, did that not look like an obvious facemask in real time? To me it certainly did.
Not going to complain though.
On a similar topic, the last three NFL games have been decided on the last play.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Brandon Marshall clutch TD. He's gonna end up with 1300 yards, 12+ TD's, all for a 5th rounder.
After that game, if Dallas wins tomorrow they would be only 1 game out of the division lead, at 4-8

Thanks for the jinx. Not enough though. Seriously special teams has killed us two weeks in a row... absolutely awful.
2 return TDs against them and a pick 6 from Brady

I love Cam, hope he gets MVP. Guy got hated on so much last few years. Atleast from what I've read. Such a unique and entertaining talent.

some of the stuff said about him before the draft was just ridiculous. Brian Billick especially in that video "who in the history of the NFL, who's won a championship, looks like Cam Newton?" Wtf, he's the same size as Roethlisberger, what else is he referring to?
