This is nearly as funny as 8-2
That was by far our worst performance of the season, yet our best result.

Lucky Lucky Lucky.. aint we..
Thank God it was Arsenal. If it was some other crappy MK dons kinda team they would have scored 4-5 in that first half. Arse have a mental block to score goals against us its like.

Smalling (second half), Fellaini, Young and De Gea were all brilliant I thought

Also all this moaning from United fans/idiots in the media about selling Welbeck, if Arsenal had a more lethal striker today they would have scored more.

I'd gladly have Welbeck instead of RVP tbh. What a waste of space he was today.

young and valencia.. lol they are tailor made wing backs aint they ?! Everytime we play 3-5-2 they will do decently.
EDIT : Now when I think of it Valencia's best position is actually RM not RWB.
But having said that I dont want to see it again ever. (after Shaw and Rafael come back) This formation is making this team a hoofball moyes-eque one. Another reason why Fellaini shone today (He must have used his 100 inch wide chest more times than he used his feet ) Today it was justified since both of our full backs werent available so fair enough. But after this diamond has to come back with herrera in AM and rooney partnering Falcao. Van Persie on the other hand has to JUST GO!!

It was Falcao or Welbeck. In any case would have Wilson over both(RvP and Welbeck).

Massive win!
We have two home matches against Hull and Stoke next. This result could be the cataylist for us.

Daniel Taylor @DTguardian
Van Gaal not totally satisfied with De Gea. Says he has many qualities but needs to improve in other areas. "I'm not praising, believe me."
lol u wot m8

I noticed a pattern with LVG, seems like he doesnt like praising our players to the media.
I think secretly he gave big dave a wry smile and a tap on the shoulder.
DDG was immense. Shame he didnt have enough power to direct Girouds shot away at the end.

He praised him twice before, I guess he thinks these performances are standard now. That's De Gea's fault for being so good.
Btw, what did you guys think of McNair today? I thought he was poor, but others said he played well. Perhaps I need to watch the game again.

McNair was sloppy in the 1st half. But then so was everyone else apart from Big D. In the 2nd half was decent to towards the end almost good. Not an eye catchy performance But thats understandable.
A large chunk of it is because of the system and lack of, well Blind (or the 3rd midfielder). He couldnt get balls away as he was struggling especially in the first half with no one close to him and they were pressing fiercely. Still didnt buckle down to the quality of someone like a wilshere or a sanchez completely.
He looks very promising indeed.
Also the boys' a lucky charm for LvG. 4 wins in 4 matches he has started.

I think our defence collectively had a shocker today. No organization, no concept of the offside rule.
I thought he fared better in the 2nd half, but atleast he wasnt as bad as Blackett....kinell Blackett had a shocker.

Yeah, Blackett was pretty bad, but I'm not surprised he even looks out of place in the reserves.

#mufc XI vs Hull: De Gea, Smalling, Carrick, Rojo, Valencia, Fellaini, Mata, Di Maria, Young, Rooney, van Persie
Strange line-up, if it's 3-5-2, Fellaini can't hold on it's own, he's much better as a box-to-box. Wilson is injured, so RvP starts by default.

Regardless of the line up, regardless that RVP is starting again, we should have more than enough to beat Hull at home.
RVP better pull his weight. Lucky sob that other forwards around keep getting injured.
