Honestly he's not as good as we thought he is. Stood out in an underperforming team and an underperforming manager. Had a good spell of performances before his consistency dipped, then his performance levels dropped.

He's been massively overrated by united fans.

It's not like he was putting performances like today, which looked good relative to everyone else playing bad. Surely a good player is one that can play good even when his team mates are playing bad. That he doesn't need anyone to carry him. He'll show his worth in time. Inconsistency is apart of being young.

yea i was.

But he need to show desire. the thing is even in poor patch of form i am sure he can play much better than this. Today he was just filling up position on the pitch it appeared to me. May be it was expecting a tad too much from him. So thats what upset me. The competition for attacking places is so high and if he wont show the heart lvg will be ruthless and will sent him down the line.

But he was trying, when he plays badly it sticks out like a sore thumb. He was trying dribbles but messing up, failing to make accurate passes, making wrong decisions, slowing the game down too much, over thinking things. It's similar to when Rooney plays badly. Someone like Valencia however will not try to go past people he becomes a passenger, just passes it backwards making safe passes. Mata is also the same as Valencia when he plays badly. They don't try to do risky things, they're not brave. Cleverley is another that falls into the category. You don't notice them at all. I'd rather have a play that tries things because when it works, it's much more impactful than the guy that does little.
