lol positives are we didn't play the worst out of all the PL teams
QPR
City
Soton
I give Yeovil credit tho, those mofos pressed all game and well, never let us get comfortable

All of them were awful, not only Fletcher. Maybe one or two can come out with their heads held high after that match.
Our lack of creativity is worse than our defense. It's not like we lack the personnel either.

hopefully at least now louis will understand theres a clear difference in the way we play when we switches to a back 4. and hopefully we wont go back to that shite 3 at the back formation next week. Diamond is the way forward.

I doubt it. The man is stubborn. We were playing yeovil, both full backs available, and he still played 3-5-2.
Comes across as though he wants to prove his genius by sticking with it and not concede defeat that it clearly doesn't work for us.

well if the results wont go as per planned, then he wont have any other option than to..
already dropped 4 points playing that crap against Villa and Stoke. More of that in the coming weeks, the old man will surely come under the scrutiny to scrape it.

I take back what I said about the poor subs regarding shaw and rafael. Apparently lvg has said both were injured. Rafael suffered a cheekbone injury and shaw an ankle injury.
Unreal the amount of injuries. Unreal.

Van Gaal "Rafael had a fresh injury so it was fantastic that he had the guts to play through. He has a fantastic mentality, it's unbelievable. But I had to change him and Shaw because they aren't 100 per cent fit."
I feel bad for him, but Rafael can just wear a mask next game?

Re: Manchester United 2014/2015 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
V Southampton
Starting XI : De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Blind, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Di Maria, van Persie.
United’s subs vs Southampton today: Valdes, Evans, McNair, Blackett, Fellaini, Herrera, Wilson.
Back four. Blind is back. Nice!
No Herrera in the middle though. Bit of a shame.
Di Maria back, dont know if he has a free role up front. But he's much needed pace up front is so welcomed again.
I like the team.

Van Gaal said that Falcao is not injured, he's not selected for the squad. wtf, that is not good news for Falcao and is quite frankly a piss take by LVG. We could have used him as a sub at the least instead of Wilson (who has looked out of his depth everytime he's played).
Bizzare.

With Herrera available, Mata shouldn't have started.

I can see why that lot have the best defensive record in the league. Very well organized and Schnerdalin and Wanyama shield the defence well.
Very boring match. Di Maria and Shaw have been really poor. Mata and Rooney are getting no space in the mf.

I see an excessive amount of long-balls as a sign that the midfield is piss-poor. After so many months in charge, LVG ought to have fixed it.

Finally, a goal. With that kind of midfield, it served them right.

Oh great...fellaini on for di maria. Long ball tactyics it is then. Some philosophy that.
I've had my doubts about LVG and this just further compounds it. Boring slow dross football 3-5-2 bollox and weird substitutions.
just shit.

Falcao not in the squad looks like a joke now

LVG is similar to Moyes, except that he plays 5-3-2.
