Re: Isco
Benzema creating chances? Alright then. And no Dante, he would never appreciate Isco. Never.

Re: Isco
I remember when he was out of favor at Madrid, wanted Tottenham or anyone really to snatch him up because I thought it was insane they would let him go.
Madrid got a bit of good fortune Isco wanted to stay, he's easily one of the most important players in the team and has finally made the step up we all knew he could.

Re: Isco
What do you think of this article by Marca Chadzema
Can Isco join Messi and Ronaldo at football's top table?
That is perhaps the most significant aspect of Isco's rise. While Cristiano Ronaldo might be the current Ballon d'Or holder, holding a claim to be the best football player of all time, it is Isco who best communicates what Zidane wants from his Real Madrid. It wasn't until Isco came into the side as a permanent fixture after the turn of the year that we truly saw his team, until we finally saw his ideas come to fulfilment.
This season could prove to be even more significant for the 25-year-old, though. World football finds itself at a juncture, with the era of Lionel Messi and Ronaldo starting to wind down. Both players are into their thirties now, with their immortality becoming more and more of a factor in their play. It's time for others, including Isco, to make the step up on to their perch.
There's no reason why Isco can't join such company this season. Zidane is now building his Real Madrid side around the playmaker, constructing a system to get the best from him. For so long, everything at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu has been geared towards Ronaldo. He is still the face of Real Madrid, but from a tactical perspective, that might no longer be the case.
Recently signing a bumper contract extension at the club, Isco has become the image of the new Real Madrid.

Very weird.
I have a friend who supports Barca and he hates Real and always finds something negative to say about them. But he's such a fan of Isco lol , always praising him and saying what a player he is. Watching a Real fan talking like that about Isco , it's weird (and amusing)
but ok whatever , i also enjoy watching Isco play , fantastic player

Re: Isco
Ozil, di maria and James all>isco better passing, vision, creativity and IQ, they have all created clear goal scoring chances with ease from all over pitch, yet they could be so called objectively criticised, but this guy floating taking touches here and there, being a ballhog, unnecessary turnovers and slow playing the ball, is always amazing isco is the definition of a hype job, he ain't scoring that goal if benzema isn't going wide left and holding up the ball smartly and decisively making the right decision you know? isco job oh and bales too.
Such an amazing midfielder not one highlight of a single decisive through ball all preseason, but kova has like 6 or 7 in 2 games playing at cm lmao, keep up the vague bs praising

Re: Isco
So through balls and passing are the only thing that matters from an AM?
But a striker can be the greatest in the world without making key passes, without scoring, without dribling. Basically only standing in off-side positions and posting pictures of cars on Instagram while lip syncing to mediocre rap.

Re: Isco
And yet where are those players now? You constantly preach that this forum doesn't know better than the managers of RM, yet all of the players you mentioned being better than Isco have been ostracized.
Also let's keep in mind in terms of goals:
Isco 1, Benzema 0

I think Kovacic has gotten a lot of flak on here, whenever he's had a poor game. But man.. what a great prospect he is. He doesn't get much attention, but I'm excited to see what kind of player he'll be in the future, whether he'll be at Real Madrid or somewhere else.

the only ones who diss kova are the ones who dont know squat.
Kovacic is a valued member of the team. I expect him to replace modric the moment modric shows definite signs of declining.
Re: Isco
kid's play is iniesta-esque at the moment. mesmerizing ball control, impossible to disposes and he knows how to pass now

Re: Isco
Isco was always good back at Malaga, took a while for him to finally shine at Real. So many of Reals players are performing at such a high level, its really credit to Zidane hes able to being this, able to extract the best out of every player, most anyway. Real got absolute 5 top midfielders to choose from at least. Kovavic also took his time to settle, but hes improved a lot and good enough to fill in.

Yeah, signed it in the middle of August. 4 years with a 700 million release clause or the "keep PSG away" clause.

Re: Isco
No wonder he is my favorite player absolute monster when he runs free. He has improved so much, and even if people talk a lot about ascension, which is a bit premature still, Isco should be an instant starter for us. He is a better footballer player than Bale today and it's not close

James is more talented than Eriksen, but needs to find his best form again. Ozil is a scrub.

Is that code for being a shit attacking midfielder? Shit vision, passing and decision making, listening/reading posts and commentary trying to justify what he does on the pitch is amusing its always hyperbolic bullshit, if he didn't score that goal he would have contributed nothing to the game of any significance, iniesta, busquets and koke are the ones dominating teams and silva is the one creating chances and linking up the attack, isco is getting praise for being there and dribbling/turning over the ball such a joke.
