Peaky Blinders is indeed legit, Tom Hardy's cockney accent is something to behold

@James
Watch Penny Dreadful
there's demonic bs and stuff and Eva Green
there's the best victorian london you will ever see and stuff , Eva Green too
frankenstein , satan , dorian gay and also Eva Green
also let me put it this way , i hate horror . I find the majority of horror movies/series are very bad , but i am watching this for all the rest it has. Rarely scary for me , but it can be quite disturbing often
great characters , casting is very good and acting is fantastic , atmosphere , background and costumes are out of this world , s2 is even better
and Eva Green

First episode of Ray Donovan was really good. I hope we see a lot more of Finney. That actor is consistently brilliant.

Quite an average season after someone told me it is one of the best shows he has ever seen. His list probably consists of Grey Anatomy, Teen Wolf, Geordie Shore and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Slow start, things only really got going from e5. But still way too slow. A whole season has passed and you are still left unclear with the way the whole dynamic of the supernatural thing works. And the way they used it to convey itself throughout the season is pretty poor. Could've been so much better. I'm pissed because the premise as very good potential, but meh.
A second season might work if they get smarter writers in. Because some of the absurdity (within context of the show f course) reached Arrow S03 level at times, especially in that finale. There was a time when I was just waiting for one of the characters, Will, to cap it all off by saying "where there is a will, there's a way" at the climax of the finale. They even drove off into the sunset as well, only this time per boat

Dat Kardashian hate smh.
If you watch it carefully, it's a sophisticated drama about pop culture all wrapped in an iconic and compelling narrative.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
If you love Cillian Murphy you should watch The Wind That Shakes The Barley.
Also looking at your list again, I'd recommend Life on Mars (the British version.) Two incredibly strong main characters and you will absolutely love Gene Hunt, one of the best lead roles of the past decade. Philip Glenister's performance is absolutely perfect.

Shit. Just watched episode 2 and it feels kinda weird, I agree. Feels really teen wolf like. I think i'm throwing this one.
Got to keep up with Mr. Robot and Fargo for the time being. Hannibal as well though it declined. Do you recommend any other series?

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
I just recently binged watched Peaky Blinders on Netflix in like 2 days. Really fantastic show. A beautiful period piece about British gangsters post WWI. It's in my top 10 of all time already. And I believe season 3 will be airing in January. Cillian Murphy absolutely destroys his role.
If you'v seen Peaky Blinders, I recommend Justified that just finished recently. Another amazing show with one of the best endings in any TV series. The characters and dialogue are so good over all 6 seasons.
