Korra's finale was better than 90% of the finales I've ever seen.

Just saw White Christmas. The episode starts out in very Black Mirrorish but then FML there is a White Bear like twist. Did not see that coming. Brilliant, brilliant episode. Felt real sorry for the guy at the end. He killed it alongside Jon Hamm and Oona Chaplin was great too.

Nah, it's as far as they could go without worrying about pissing off loads of parents and getting the American conservative media on their back. Some people will still be pissed off anyway since any grown adult can see exactly what is going on there, but they avoided a massive backlash like the one Disney faced with the lesbian couple on Good Luck Charlie by not making the romance super obvious.

Though, it wasn't like it was a tiny hint either. They REALLY pushed it as far as they could possibly go, or as far as Nickelodeon would let them go to be more accurate.

If you have time, you should check out some reaction videos to the ending. Bah gawd, so many people were losing their shit, and in a good way. This is a picture of me taken directly in the aftermath of the finale

That's fan art bruv, someone on another forum I'm on linked it from Tumblr. It's cool though.

Yeah, I'm going to miss this show, though it will probably come back in 4-5 years, it makes Nick too much money for it to be completely thrown away.

Finished the first season of American Horror Story (known as Murder House)...was quite good. I feel like watching shows like Supernatural prepared me for watching this. I didn't find it all that shocking or scary because of that. It was good to watch nonetheless. Jessica Lange is indeed one of the finest actresses of her generation. Look forward to seeing her in future seasons of this show.

Nick was actually not making money from it, which was why they moved it online. Unfortunately it was a little too grown up for their regular viewership and didn't go well with the companies they usually sell advertisements to.

Ah, that explains it. The show also had it's budget cut half way through production of season 4 if I remember correctly, though that was probably a side effect of being moved online, since being online means less revenue is generated from ads, so Nick wouldn't have wanted to spend loads of money on a show with no ad revenue.

I have heard that it was pulling very strong viewing numbers online though, and I know that Nick did actually air most of the season, including the finale, on Nicktoons, their side channel, so there may still be a chance that the show comes back.

Murder House and Asylum (except for two ridiculous subplots) is pretty good. The next two seasons...not so much.

Gonna check out Darknet sometime soon.

Btw, any Archer watchers? How would you rate it and sell it to me?
And should I binge on it, or Prison Break, after I finish Justified? hmm

Agreed. Prison Break is GOAT show. Very underrated. It's up there with Breaking Bad and better than Justified.

Other people here watch Korra

I'm catching up on Season 4. I have been busy, but made it through the first 4 episodes last night and am looking forward to watching the rest. Heard that something in the finale is insane hmm

Korra really stepped up its game from season 1. Season 2 was quite good, season 3 was fantastic and so far I'm enjoying season 4. Don't think it's quite at season 3 level but still very enjoyable.

Watched the Korra pilot a while back but wasn't astounded but it sounds like I'll have to get back into this show when I have time. If it hits the same heights as Avatar later on then it will be well worth it.

Also having just watched the HBO Yearender video that M99 posted in the GOT thread I must say that I'm really excited to see Westworld turned into a TV show.
