If we have 10-1 advantage in our box, chances are we will still concede Mad .

does any one think, that BR doesnt have enough knowhow about how to use the midfield effectively. I think we have quite a good balance in the midfield but BR doesnt know how to use it.

For example, yday a midfield of Lucas, Allen-Hendo,Coutinho ahead of them was so ineffective in terms of creativity, those one-twos were missing, everyone was trying to force things, the midfield triangles were so terrible, even defensively they were not so organised leaving spaces in between-specially the attacking third and rest of the team. Well I was expecting that we will boss their midfield but I was wrong.
Once Gerrard came, it was more balanced. A midfield of Allen playing deepest with Gerrard, Hendo and Coutinho ahead of was far more effective. I think in this season, BR hasnt found the perfect formula of the midfield yet and that is leading to our attacking third problems.

So what's the deal with our defense??? We have tried almost everything; two-man defense, three-man defense, with/without Lovern, with/without Sakho...

I would say our defending has been OK this season and that the number of individual mistakes has been decreasing lately. Defensive record should improve, though, and it doesn't help that Skrtel is the only defender who has been an obvious choice all season. Sakho is looking like perhaps cementing his place now and that's fantastic.

How about our set-piece record this season in attack, though? I think we've scored just two goals from corner kicks this season, the two beautiful baldies Skrtel and Shelvey finding the back of the net from those. The Finnish commentator said in the Sunderland game that only Swansea have scored less from corner kicks.

We have conceded 27 already and at this rate we are going to concede as much as we did last season. Also, if you consider the fact that teams like Southampton (15), WHU (25), Swansea (25), Villa (23) have conceded less than us; our defense haven't shown much resilience.

Southampton have concedes less than Chelsea and are the best defensive team in the league so why are you counting them in?

Well, since the switch over to the 3-4-2-1 we've looked more competent in defence for sure.

Set pieces are another story. We've been poor on both sides of them.

We looked better with Emre-Skrtel-Sakho. But still we conceded (four in four) and not because of some attacking brilliance but due to some defensive/tactical lapses.
