Max Meyer has the flu. It would be too risky to let him play as virus infections can ruin the heart if they are not properly healed.

Unfortunately so. And it is definitely not a cheap excuse this time. As a matter of fact, Jens Keller actually plays some guys who would normally play for the U19 team, so that side will be weakened for the U19 match, too :facepalm:

I actually like Schalke (Have since 09/10 when they came second, I believe) so it's a shame to see them in this state.

Well, I like them, too (they are more or less next door after all), especially because I really admire what they do with their youth setup. I really wonder when they actually will have their team at full strength for once, though. -_-

Yeah, sort of. Only they don't have a highly lauded coach like Arsene Wenger, but widely (and IMO unfairly) criticized Jens Keller who sits on a hot seat ever since he took over.
