Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
He has a release clause of 75 mil.... that's the only way he would leave. So that takes Serie A out of the picture . Madrid could trigger it. He refused Liverpool who was willing to trigger it. If Arsenal wanted to pay 75 mil, he'd probably think about it.
Monaco only sold James because they got 90 million. They're like Porto... if you want to massively overpay or trigger the release clause, then yeah. Otherwise, gtfo .

Di Marzio wrote:Falcao’s future has yet to be decided. The next hours will be very intense for the Colombian striker. He’s a professional and he kept playing and scoring with Monaco, but he dreams to move to Real Madrid. His agent Jorge Mendes stayed in Monte Carlo to discuss with all the interested clubs. Juventus are indeed after him but they could acquire him only on loan with the wages partially paid by Monaco or if Falcao reduced his salary. The French club will have to disclose their intentions and inform Mendes if and at what conditions Falcao could leave the club. His permanence isn’t certain at all.

Roma and PSG have agreed on a fee of 15 mil euros for Rabiot. Now Roma must convince Rabiot who prefers Arsenal... however, Arsenal may also up its fee to match Roma.

Negredo is joining Real Madrid. Falcao remains at Monaco or joins Juventus.
Pd: Arsenal should make a bid for Falcao. With Falcao in that squad they could be UCL contenders at last

Good job Carlo, said "NO" to Falcao and the club is listening.

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
Carlo was probably like "you messed up my midfield can't have you messing up my attack too"
Negrito is actually a very good player. The guy is a monster in the box and a brilliant hold up player. He fits the profile to play between Ronaldo and Bale easily. The only thing he lacks is work rate but I am sure his second chance for our first team he will work very hard and he is a cantera

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
How many strikers do city have currently ? 4 is it ?
They play 2 up top.Surely they'd need another striker of good quality if Negredo is indeed leaving ?

Well I think With Silva, Navas and Nasri there will be times where they play Silva behind 1 striker.
Also with Fernandinho and Fernando, they can push Yaya into that role which I actually think is better for him now.

I guess it's because:
1) We require a certain type of striker, ie one that is comfortable holding up the ball, is good in the air, is good in the box. Negredo fits all those requirements
2) We have lost Lopez, Morata and are about to lose Arbeloa so we are going to need more homegrown players. Negredo fits a position we are in need of a player in
3) Is happy playing back up, potentially making the spot his own later
4) we are probably gonna buy a non eu midfielder/defender and with DiMaria leaving and James/Navas arriving we only have one non eu spot left

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
because when he is on the bench, you wont have marca, as and all medias in spain putting him on the frontpage asking why he isnt playing more. that would have happened with Falcao... he is from our cantera, experienced scorer, very good in la liga, good in the air, good technique etc...Lex wrote:Why Negredo of all people, Madrid fans?
For the kind of back up role we are after, i think he fits. could have been someone else with that profile.

Yaya's story is one to be remembered. From playing CB for Barca in 2009 UCL final to AM in England. EPL

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
Even on a one year dry loan, he would be worth the risk, but i think he's headed to the PL if Madrid option doesnt materialize.
The way this 'saga' is developing,it seems like Mendes is the one that controls Monaco and makes all the big decisions lol.

No one is spending £20m on Falcao for a year long loan lol. Negrito would be a great signing, Castilla legend, La Liga proven and a nice alternative to Benzema.

No but the minute Benzema goes another few games without scoring they'll have negredo on the front page, claiming he should start, showing goals he scored in trainings, nutmegs, etc
They did the same shit when Morata was on the bench early last season.

They will if there's an option to buy at the end for an extra say 40m.

that wont happen, and even if it does, it wont have the impact it could have had with falcao.FalcaoPunch wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:because when he is on the bench, you wont have marca, as and all medias in spain putting him on the frontpage asking why he isnt playing more. that would have happened with Falcao... he is from our cantera, experienced scorer, very good in la liga, good in the air, good technique etc...Lex wrote:Why Negredo of all people, Madrid fans?

For a change it would be nice for medias to support benzema all year, see how it goes.
he started the year scoring our first goal on a corner lol, of all things.

negredo is a great back and i think he is pretty good player overall as well not that consistent but that ok i guess, as long as its a cf and not a midfielder/cr false garbage 9 tactics
nice change in tune hala, just copy and paste all stuff from falcao to negredo, pretend you and the rest wasn't wrong about falcao

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
Flo save us pls
pls Flo
Anyway if we do sign Negredo my only worry is his fitness. He's from the cantera so the public will be behind him which is always a good thing.
If Benzema goes on one of his trademark cold periods then you can bet the crowd will start chanting Negreeeedoooo Negreeeedoooo Negreeedoooo

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
In what world does Negredo have "good technique". Bale looks like Maradona compared to him What he has going for him is that he's extremely strong and is good in the box if serviced properly.
Good backup for Madrid if it happens... although it's going to be very important for both Bale and Ronaldo to help in the buildup with Negredo in there.

Re: Radamel Falcao close to Chelsea move
I disagree, for one, his shooting technique, placing shots and taking volleys id fantastic. He is skilled for a striker, and way above average. i am not comparing him to isco here. His first touch is very good, something that's very noticeable when you watch him with Spain NT, he fits in perfectly, without looking awkward with the ball like Diego Costa did.
