The PC version is DirectX 9 - Probably because the PES team isn't that big they wanted to save money by not having to troubleshoot/support DX9 and at the same time DX11.

PES isn't the kind of game like Watch Dogs and Shadow of Mordor that can get away with a DX11 only version. The features missing from the PC version which Konami posted can be directly translated into DX11 features:

• Elapsed time – Show brightness/shadow change from real time lighting according to the match time of day - Diffuse Global Illumination (Lighting)
• Crowd improvement – Crowd variety to be increased by 10 times - Deferred Rendering (Performance)
• Player lighting to be improved through differed rendering - Ambient Occlusion (Lighting)
• Improved shirt quality – Weave variety added - Tesselation (Performance)
• Enhance depth of field - I didn't know blur was a feature - Bokeh post-processing (Performance)

Good on Konami to go out of their way to make a DX9 version for PC and compatibility instead of taking the lazy route.[/b]

Also how do you pick a formation ffs. There's like 3 different menus to pick a formation.

I usually just go through it all manually.

This is the only game so far that allows me to maximize my style of play.

Yeh manually, but what's the difference between pre set tactics and tactical options? Both of them let you choose your kick off, when in possession and out of possession formations.

The only thing I touch in tactical options is fluid formations and making sure it's on.

Otherwise teams won't switch formation with and without the ball.

Do everything else in preset tactics.

Can't even find a tactics PES guide online.

Ffs have to go to some obscure menu, create a room, fill out 20 settings, wait for it to load just to invite someone for a friendly.

Wow that pressing, worse than FIFA imo.

How do you finish in this game.

Wow, the pressing is so op on this game. 90 mins of full aggressive pressing ffs.

If someone is pressing against you, just pass the ball around, their players will get tired easily and they will play bad.

How do you direct pens? Moved the left analog stick and they still all went in the middle.

My players energy bar was basically zilch after 60 mins lol.

Nowhere near as annoying as your sideways passing across the back 4 for 30 mins tbf

Anyway good games don't know how the *bleep* you take penalties but what ever.

Yeh, was just testing out how much longer Ibra would be able to press with his 20 stamina.

Usually Cabaye and Moura would win the ball back and were subs anyway.

If only my wide men made some runs, then it'd be easier getting in behind that highline imo. Instead they just stood there and it mostly led to losing the ball.

Also need to adapt my shooting to PES. So used to FIFA, was trying a finesse shot every 1v1 and it just went wide.

They were in first half tbf, i changed how I defended in the second half to press wide areas and tell the back 4 to be less compact.

Was getting sick of Bale running in everytime because my fullbacks thought it would be a good idea to defend the width of the box.

Does anyone know how to take penalties in PES? xD
