I was deceived by 14 I admit, but I stand by what I said about the demo but they changed too much and it ended up being meh.

Reading the info part helps

The main issues with 2014 was speed of gameplay, animations getting stuck leading to a lack of responsiveness and lack of individuality.

In that video, it seems very responsive and animations all flow together without any slowdown and the speed of the gameplay seems a lot better.

Individuality of players seems very noticeable, players like Neymar and Robben and how they are portrayed in not only skillset but how they move was always a staple of PES but sorely missing in 2014.

Yet here it's very noticeable, Neymar and Robben especially.

Shooting looks vastly improved too, which was very floaty in 14 to the point where scoring from distance was ridiculously difficult and not satisfying at all.

I have heard goalkeepers are a lot better, but I have not seen any evidence of that yet.

But anyway my words are meaningless, watch the gameplay, play the demo and make your own decisions.

Reviews say its the better game this year but I am not falling for it until I try the demo. Both games were terrible last year. PES 14 had potential but it was not fulfilled; EA just didn't bother with modes other than FUT.

Agreed, except for the Fifa part I can't really speak on that.

I am really happy that Konami are copying EA and releasing the equivalent of FUT, its called myclub. Its an overhauled MLO.

I remember the 11 vs 11 in PES 2014, it was laggy as hell and the responsiveness was much worse than offline.

I do need to talk about how amazing our tactical side of the game is this year. We've raised the bar to a new level in Team ID.

So for example, we have 3 formations for every team. Starting formation, In possession, and out of possession. Also, same 3 for away matches

Like I said, FOR EVERY TEAM. The depth is incredible, and brings incredible depth to Master League.

from PES European Brand Manager Adam Bhatti, now he works for Konami so there's probably some hyperbole at play here but if it's even close to reality then great improvement.

That 3 formations thing sounds like a good idea imo. Real Madrid play 4-3-3 when attacking, 4-4-2 when defending.

People would abuse that hardcore online on fifa

Imagine the disgusting pace attacks with some 3-4-3 then the AI drag into a 6-4-0 during defence.

Sounds awesome in my book. Was tired of defending with 3-4-3 now I get to actually drop the Wingers for a 5-2-3 or 5-4-1.

Gonna need some really balanced wingers,tho . Manolev at LM/LB & Debuchy RM//RB should do the trick.

Might be a little more difficult getting Debuchy from Arsenal though

Defensive and offensive formations sounds great TBH.

Named Sports game of Gamescom above Fifa, NBA2K. NHL etc etc and Forza.

That has to be pretty significant
