Re: PES 15
When I select a different formation for defending and switch players positions, they change position in the attack formation one as well?

Re: PES 15
Nah you have to edit the positions for in possession and out of possession.
You can't just edit out of possession and leave it.

Re: PES 15
I meant they're not meant to change position.
I moved Robben to RW on my 3-6-1 formation, but when I switched to my defending 4-2-3-1 one, he was at DM, so I switched him to RAM, but then he was switched LW on the 3-6-1.

Oh that's happened to me before lol, you need to make sure exactly where you want them in both formations before confirming.

Lool going from PES back to FIFA. Huge difference. It's like going from football to ice skating.

The PC version is DirectX 9 - Probably because the PES team isn't that big they wanted to save money by not having to troubleshoot/support DX9 and at the same time DX11.
PES isn't the kind of game like Watch Dogs and Shadow of Mordor that can get away with a DX11 only version. The features missing from the PC version which Konami posted can be directly translated into DX11 features:
• Elapsed time – Show brightness/shadow change from real time lighting according to the match time of day - Diffuse Global Illumination (Lighting)
• Crowd improvement – Crowd variety to be increased by 10 times - Deferred Rendering (Performance)
• Player lighting to be improved through differed rendering - Ambient Occlusion (Lighting)
• Improved shirt quality – Weave variety added - Tesselation (Performance)
• Enhance depth of field - I didn't know blur was a feature - Bokeh post-processing (Performance)
Good on Konami to go out of their way to make a DX9 version for PC and compatibility instead of taking the lazy route.[/b]
Am i to believe one of the most succesful in the gaming industry Konami , out of all their games , opted to save money ON PERSONEL OF ALL THINGS , from PES , in freaking 2015 , AND after the disaster that was PES 2014?
Am i to actually believe for serious , that the laziest route they could have taken would be to create an actuall next gen game ?
Am i to seriously accept for real that Konami didn't even offer a dx11 version , because they didn't take the lazy route ? Offering by any means possible , a better version of the game , would be defined as the lazy route ???
Did i just read that simply shipping the game in freakin 2015 in just dx9 , is supposed to prove consideration and hard work by Konami , that was the wisest decision apparently ? Out of a)dx11 b) dx11 and dx9 c) dx9 , ditch next gen and just go Dxfreaking9 was the answer ?!
Let's use a simple analogy : "My name is Konami . I am going to offer less tomorrow in my job in spite of me being totally capable of doing more , because hey , i don't want to be lazy . That's possibly the best i can do" .

Just a tip to people that are new to PES. When dribbling do not hold the sprint button and change direction, rather tap it when changing direction. Its all about timing the right decision.

Re: PES 15
I hope every match doesn't involve teams pressing for 90 mins without tiring. Had enough of that on FIFA ffs.

Re: PES 15
They do tire lol.
If it was so effective when I create loads of chances at beginning of matches like I did in our matches I'd continue to do it through out the match.
But I didn't after around an hour it's noticeable on the effect it has both offensively and defensively.

Re: PES 15
I press very aggressively, as long as I press the right areas for the first hour of the match I can quite easily keep teams from passing through me.
But after that my players start to tire and it's noticeable as the gaps between the lines get larger and larger.
It's a risky tactic but it's how I like to play.

Re: PES 15
Online divisions can be frustrating and rewarding in equal measure.
Basically how it works is instead of just wins and draws you get an amount of points to achieve to get promotion.
The worse team you use the higher the points you receive should you win.
The frustrating part comes in is there is no limitations to who you face so you can be Everton and face Bayern
The rewarding part is you get shit loads of points should you actually win and thus get promoted faster, as well as the all round good feeling you get from beating a vastly better team.

Not sure why their review is later than everyone else but meh.
http://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2014/11/14/pro-evolution-soccer-2015-review
If it’s impossible to dismiss the allure of authentic chants, stadia, team names, and kits, it’s telling that PES 2015 is intrinsically rewarding enough not to require those hooks. Strip away the fripperies and there’s a clear winner – and this year, for once, it isn’t EA Sports.
After an extensive rebuilding process, PES 2015 is a series back to its best. It embraces its PS2-era roots while offering almost everything you could want from a modern football simulation. The marketing blurb isn’t just braggadocio on Konami’s part; the pitch really is theirs.

Re: PES 15
on its day it plays like best football game in the planet.every goal different from other. feels so good.
but also i feel not in control some times. i tackle cpu player twice perfect but my player stumbles on him or my player doesnt respond quick to get the ball back and another oposition player gets the ball. very annoying. or the pass goes poorly. i wish maybe player stats would be more obvious. hazard, neymar...these players should be less stiff than vidic but they arent. also graphic is ok but not as good as fifa...and animations suck some times.
some part of annoyance of me is also because i play fifa so i have to lose some bad habits so it is not pes fault.
i like the game a lot. but i miss combination play from pes 2014. dont know why the remove?

Re: PES 15
The stumbling thing is the most annoying thing by far when it actually happens.
I disagree on player stats though, the best thing about the game is how faithfully each players individual traits have been created to differ each player from each other.
And Neymar and Hazard are great examples of it, they are unbelievably smooth and dribble through teams with ease.
Not noticed the stiffness at all.

Re: PES 15
Love how substitutions and tactics have a clear impact on the game.
Using Man Yoo in the CL mode, 1-0 down to Bilbao in 2nd round. In 67th minute I make two subs, Januzaj for Mata and Van Persie for Falcao as well as changing Di Maria's position to behind the striker.
Two minutes later Di Maria scored from that position, scored another two in next 7 minutes from a Van Persie assist and goal from Penalty which Di Maria won.
Didn't even look like scoring up until that point, the subs you make and how you adjust your tactics are absolutely pivotal to success in this game.
