Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the future of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is increasingly uncertain.

They say Vidal will in the next few hours communicate his desire to leave the Italian giants for Manchester United in a deal reportedly worth 60m euros (£48m).

Arturo Vidal’s summer transfer to Manchester United has edged a step closer after he reportedly passed medical tests with the club.

El Mercurio said the checks took place in Chile, but it is not clear whether Juventus gave their permission for the medical.

The way Pardew has used him in pre season and spoke about him I think he's staying now tbh.

You do know this isn't a shock to Madrid fans because we knew one of iker and Lopez would leave and that it was too disrespectful to push a club legend out before lopez. Lopez was always going to be the one to leave and we got a superior Keylor Navas to replace him so to speak. Next season Iker is likely going to leave for free and we will buy Castilla legend Kiko Casilla to play as back up to Navas. That way we kill two birds with one stone. We get Navas to replace a want away Casillas for cheap and there is no more bickering in the spanish media about iker v Lopez
