We dont need to add a ture "DM" and we dont need a top striker. We can without these signings.

Atletico did it last season.  Surprised

Don't Arsenal play Arteta, Ramsey and Ozil in midfield? That's a 4-2-3-1 imo.

there is no comparison to be made between the way rm and arsenal play, and personnel as well. our players are much better at right about everything, harder working and we are better coached.

ramsey-arteta-wilshere is garbage mate. two of those shouldnt start for a team of the quality you want to achieve, not to mention Wilshere is already a bench player for the most part. i let you guess the other one.

we use a trivote with a mediocentro and two interiores. you use a double pivot with one deep lying playmaker and a box to box, what are you comparing? it's not even remotely the same, the dynamic of both teams are completely different

thats exactly what we use our mediocentro is arteta and your midfield two khedira and alonso circulate we have only one in arteta but ramsey box to box some times come back to help arteta. the brain of team is arteta and it make us tick. the only difference is than the individual traits of ozil/wilshere is different from di maria/etc....  Wink

off course the dynamics will be different we are built to retain possession.

khedira is on the bench nowadays, we played di mariia-alonso-modric at our best last year. still not sure why you are hanging on to what madrid do to justify the way your midfield is.

You don't play interiores, Silva and Nasri are interiores. You play similar to what we do with Gerrard as the mediocentro and Coutinho-Henderson playing in the channels in front of him. I don't know what you want to call those positions (running CM, Advanced CM, box to box running CM, etc whatever the heck you want) but they are not interiores.

RealGunner wrote:Agreed with Gil tbh. Think we will drop out of the top 4 this season. I mean with a downgrade to Sagna at RB, Chambers as our 3rd choice CB and Sanogo backup to Giroud. Can't see it.

Chelsea will run away with the title with their complete squad. Might be a 10 point gap in October as I can't see them lose a single match.

United with LVG will come 2nd. World Class coach as Gil mentioned. City and Liverpool will battle for 3rd and 4th. Spurs, Everton and an unimproved Arsenal team will get 5th

IMO

it's you that need to brush up your spanish, we play interiores, those positions next to the mediocentro in a trivote are called interiores.

Nasri and Silva at city are way too advanced for that. the one behind the striker is usually called media punta so i am just going to assume that City use two of them.

Bring up atleast two occasions where this has happened.

Just two. I mean it ALWAYS happens, two should be easy, eh.

I'll give you one with Sturridge, as I thought he'd flop. So that's one for you. Can you bring up one more? hmm

Also, bit rich how I'm on "ignore" from Sepi yet he ALWAYS responds to what I have to say, and always somehow mentions me in his posts. hmm

It's all in your head son.

I said Rodgers is a lot like Wenger, actually. He'll do okay in the league, but you don't need to be a tactician to do well in England. Rodgers will show that he's not great tactically in Europe. But, whatever.

I did claim Johnson world class and your tactical genius in Rodgers said the same thing. Are you going to call Rodgers deluded? hmm Fact is, full backs are a dying breed and Johnson on his day IS the best fullback in the league. This season will determine if GJ is actually on the decline or was carrying too much injuries last season. He started last season in fine form before getting injured against United and then looked out of it since.

Rodgers exact words:
He is a world-class full-back. When you miss a player of that quality, that does weaken you as a team. I look at him and Daniel Alves as the two best right-backs in world football.

For me, he's one of the top full-backs in the world. I still think he can improve even more."

I said Skrtel is better than Agger. I've made a thread about them both being average and one of them needs to be sold with the other being the "third" CB.

http://www.goallegacy.net/t34891-skrtel-and-or-agger

My apologies for criticizing your love child in Daniel, but he's not that great son. Martin IS better. With that said, Lovren ain't any better than those two so not too sure why we decided to splash the cash on him. rofl

But please, do go on. Laughing

He is not, Zabaleta, Baines, Azpilicueta, Gibbs, and now Luis are all better fullbacks. Even if Johnson is having 'his day'.

In no universe is Johnson ever the best.
Azpi is better than him to begin with... He's the best English RB though, I'll give him that...

Forgot to add Sagna to that list.

Also, Azpilicueta is a far superior defender to Johnson, which is the primary requirement of a defender.

Azpi does have a long way to go, yes... But he's still better than GJ, who will never ever be world class... Not unless it's 2008 and he's playing for Portsmouth under 'Arry
