Yes. It is entirely independent from both Juve and Morata.

Wow this is awful then. We are basically paying for a loan because I am certain they will buy him back. Marotta
Re: Álvaro Morata
At the end of the day, his desire to come to Juventus won out. The player signed a five-year contract. For the first two years the player is entirely ours, then there is a very complicated contract that I won’t outline in its entirety here.

I'm pretty sure as with a normal transfer, the player has a say in the matter.

Re: Álvaro Morata
Welcome to Juventus Alvaro!! I like this kid. I think he's gonna be a good one and he's being put in a great position to learn behind his fellow countryman Llorente and also Carlito.
Looks like we are active in the transfer market with Evra pretty much a done deal and Pereyra also coming. If the rumours are true and Allegri is asking for one of Lavezzi/Pastore/Jovetic/Lamela, then this could be a great summer transfer window.
I like that Coman kid too, he's super fast and has alot of potential. I am sure Pogba will help him with the Italian culture and getting acclimated in his new country.

Re: Álvaro Morata
08 - release clause 100 MILLION FOR MORATA - According to Sky Sports, the contract Morata there is a release clause of 100 million. In fact, the Real has the right to recompra set at 30 million, but if there was a team that does not have the Merengues to approach Morata will have to pay 100 million to Juventus. Real should be 30 million of the clause.

Yes but at the end of the day it is the will of the player. If he is doing well and gets lots of playing time and wants to stay at Juve then Real Madrid cannot force a transfer back. What would happen is there would have to be negotiations to keep the player at Juve, i.e. most likely more money going back to Real Madrid. But I am just speculating on that.
But the bottom line is it is up to the player where he wants to play...

Re: Álvaro Morata
"It is enriched with new and sensational details the history of the transfer of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid to Juventus." This was stated by Alfredo Pedulla, on the pages of its website. The journalist Sportitalia has revealed important details: "The Spanish club may exercise the right to buy the card for an amount up to 30 million since the 2015-2016 season, as determined by the official press release. Guard But Juve has entered a Clause 100 million (of course with a portion allocated to the Real) in case Morata were to explode during the course of the next season and there was interest from clubs from big availability. At that point, anyone could come close to the attacker but behind the payment of that amount: 100 million, in fact. A very important step as part of a port forward in the past few hours. "

Re: Álvaro Morata
Too much negativity in this thread.. Pretty sure we won't buy him back. He definitely will become a very good player. He is the quickest 190 cm player I have seen. Pretty good with running with the ball and is two footed.Good aerial threat too...
Basically he is a complete package as far as No 9s go. He won't become a liability I can confirm.

Re: Álvaro Morata
Because to be fair we will have better players than him at that time yet he will become too good to accept a rotation /competition role.
Re: Álvaro Morata
Every year Morata's transfer fee will be amortized by 4 million euro on Juve's books, gross wages are 4.4 million (via @BennyJFinance)
Say Real Madrid buys Morata back in 2 years from Juve for 30 million, counting the 8 million amortized Juve makes an 18 million profit.

Re: Álvaro Morata
Everybody seems to know everything about the contract, but has this information come from the Juve management or only pure speculation? Marotta said he didnt want to discuss the details of a very complicated contract recently.

“Carlo Ancelotti wished me all the best and said I am going to a great city. He said to enjoy Italy and especially the Italian food!”
Carlo ffs
Wish him luck, he'll toy with defender in this league. One of the quickest poachers of his size, even though his technique lacks a lot.

Re: Álvaro Morata
€100m Morata buy-out clause
Among the “many complicated clauses” in Alvaro Morata’s Juventus contract is reportedly a €100m buy-out.
The striker completed his transfer from Real Madrid for €20m on Saturday, though the Spaniards have the option to buy him back from 2015-16.
That sum varies depending on how many games Morata plays for the Bianconeri, but is a maximum of €30m.
When asked about the details of this complex deal, Juve general manager Beppe Marotta would only say there were “many complicated clauses.”
According to Sky Sport Italia, that includes a buy-out clause worth €100m.
This, however, is only active for the first year of his contract and €30m of it would go to Real Madrid.
The above picture posted by the official Juventus Twitter account prompted jokes in Italian media due to the sheer size of the contract Morata was signing, a far cry from the usual couple of pages players are photographed with.
=======
I really don't get how this works... And the 30m buy back price makes me sad, cuz what if Morata becomes that player we needed for years, that young top scorer, A World Class Player?

Are you asking me
I am thinking he can score something like 22-23 goals in all comp if he gets legit minutes. As a rotational player I will think about 10-12.

Re: Álvaro Morata
Nice start,40 days out.He could miss all pre-season at best or even season start.
I said this move would be risky,I'm not saying Morata is a failure due to this injury but the deal wasn't very great as Juve appeared it to be.
Throwing 20 mln on a unproven striker, even without having his playing rights is too much for our economy.
Ex. Barca got Rakitic for 20 mln. There are a lot better players on that value...but we all know Marotta,he likes to complicate deals...all those co-ownerships,witho option to buy etc. and now this new formula,I'm tired of his strange deals as we always end up losing.
