Who'll win?
Re: Semi-Final: Brazil v Germany
the chances of david luiz having a brain fart , costing his team ,and Gil being yet behind another shitty prediciton for this WC , are much more higher than him getting anywhere near player of the tournament tbh.

I would say, what games were you watching vs Chile and Colo in which he was man of the match..but then I remembered who was watching and it all makes sense.

Only Cesar was better against Chile and that was because of the penalty shootout. Against Colombia he was the clear MoTM.
Keep raging doe brah.

luiz hate at it's finest.he has been a top 4 player for us in this world cup and one of the best CBs of the competition because of his offensive AND defensive contributions.

Re: Semi-Final: Brazil v Germany
Yeah I agree, Brazil-Holland would be a terrible final for entertainment purposes. Argentina-Germany would be the most pleasing for neutrals imo. GER-NLD and BRA-ARG would both be great because they are well known rivalries.Don't call me James wrote:I personally want to either see a Brazil-Argentina final or Germany-Holland.
Germany-Argentina would be alright also and I think this one has highest likelihood of happening.
I just don't want to see Brazil-Holland. That would be a garbage final.

Tbh after watching all quarters, I think all semifinalists have a similar mixture of theoretical potential and actual bad form going for them... Not confident, but also not scared, of anything.

Any reasons you can cite for saying that?

Germany will probably still win this, but for me only because Silva and Neymar wont be there.
So dani what do you think will happen if Neymar is there because I think he will be there?
He has a broken back JD, you think they are lying?
Not any more dani. That was just a first thought.

VivaStPauli wrote:I say if Brazil win, Netherlands win the WC, if Germany wins, they win the WC because of Dutch inferiority complex.
Which means Argentina have no chance???
The bookies are rating Brazil, Argentina and Germany exactly on par with Netherlands just slightly below.
Also the Dutch inferiority complex against Germany may not be valid any more after the Euro 1988 semi final. Lastly this generation of Dutch appear a little mentally tougher to me than this generation of Germans.

Surprised to see his name. I was wondering today whether he will make the top ten list or not.

There's a chance especially if he has an outstanding semi final. Germany's best players have been Muller and Neuer but the former has gone a little cold.

alfred, I think the Brazil-Holland rivalry is not bad. Brazilians wouldn't have forgotten that Holland surprisingly knocked them out last time.
If it's Brazil-Argentina which is what I had predicted even before the tournament began, I hope anti social elements don't become very active and cause any kind of violence.

I was about to comment on that. What a timely selection! The only question who will be the R9 this time???

about the Brazill-Holland rivalry, I'd say they they are one of our top 3 rivals alongside Argentina and Italy. We have met 4 times in WC, 2 wins for each.whoever we face next on the final or 3rd spot game will be a classic match

Re: Semi-Final: Brazil v Germany
If Brazil win this match, Neymar will accept to recieve a special treatment (don't know how to spell it in english) so he could pull a R9 and play a possible final.Don't know how this could influence his carreer in the future though

Everyone should hope Brazil don't make the final then. That would be beyond stupid.
