Funny thing about that game was that Arshavin was anonymous for the whole game... yet still somehow scored four goals. And every time he scored, his expression just read "lol what just happened".

Yea, that's true. But we are saying since Pires.

Between Pires,Overmars and Arshavin. I guess it's 1) Pires 2) Overmars 3) Arshavin

 sorry but this is getting out of hand.. Freddies service to the club goes completely ignored. I would put arshavin in the same category as Reyes.

Based on this thread you'd almost think we should be building a statue

We are not speaking in terms of achievements, speaking terms of talent. Freddie wasn't a bad player
He had pace, good movement and an eye for goal. However he wasn't the same player once he lost a yard of pace. Arshavin or Reyes have more about them but they just never had the drive that Freddie had when he played for us.

Ljungbers ws one of my favorite player but he was known more for his workrate than talent itself. There is a reason why he is not rated as highly as Pires, Henry, Bergkamp by non gooners.

Arshavin was a lazy prick, but his genius should not be overlooked. For me personally, apart from Pires, no one is on his level.
Ponder this:
Arshavin in the invincibles line up
Ljungberg/Pires?overmars in the Cesc era.

Who would be out of place/

Ljungberg/Pires/Overmars with their timing, intelligent runs receiving sexy through balls from Cesc/Hleb or Arshavin trying to catch up with the quickness of Henry, Vieira and Bergkamp? I know which one would would look out of place...

People very often overstate the talent of lazy players, it's the same with Balotelli.
