He gets a lot of stick so it's nice to praise the guy if he does something good. He produced a quality ball

If he played like that every game then no doubt he'd start over anyone but RVP. We know he's inconsistent. I say give him more late subs and increase the time gradually if he continues to improve his form then, depending on his overall contribution, sell/re-sign him. Most likely to be sold though.

He did well but still has to be sold, i think he has gone stale. The guy has lost is motivation and doesn't believe that he will get his form back that's why he sulks and plays half hearted all the time.

Great ball today..imagine Walcott picking out someone like that hmm

he can make things happen the best creative player in arsenal at the moment. Rosicky is the only one who can come close to him. sell him would be a huge huge mistake,

Meh, its gotten to a point where a routine assist is seen as a big thing for arshavin. Good pass but still, papers over the cracks a bit

I'd rather try Arsha in Rozzo's place.

You can say that about all of our mid fielders and forwards. It is not like Walcott or Gervihno are consistent. Combined they have 6 goals an 10 assits more than AA this year. With AA playing in half as many games.
Ramsey and Artetta have 2 assists and 5 goals more that AA. After playing in 28 more games.
AA even inconsistent still is in the top 5 this year in Assists and top 10 in goals.
The entire team short of RVP is inconsistent.

I would actually like to see Roza and AA in the mid together and tell Song to stay back and play defense.

that's our problem, we tolerate it. there is no pressure on these guys, because they produce disappointing performances more often than not (walcott, gervinho)

but diego's absolutely right, this is nothing to go gaga about. we know next time arshavin makes an appearance he'll be lazy and awful and the people praising him now will want him out....

Exactly, some people we say need a run of games. Some we say are just awesome, others we just want them out. We need to start to use the same dependencies on everyone no matter who they are. Taking RVP and actually the defense out and we have been horribly inconsistent all year. Just saying, if we think we need to sell AA (and not saying we should keep him) should we use the same for everyone.

imo his best position is behind the striker. he is rarely played in that position. rosicky is more suited to a central role. both are intelligent but arshavin is bit better because he has that ability to take on players and dodge them.
in games like sunderland we need our giggs and scholes too. our giggs is arshavin and scholes is rosiscky.

Arshavin does not have the energy to play this role, he is knackered at half time
Rozza, Ramsey, Cesc work tireless

Arshavin does not have the energy to play in midfield, he is puffed out after 5 mins. In our formation we play with a CAM, not a pure AM. The player playing the CAM has to do a lot not just play closer to the striker but he also press and defend. Arshavin is more suited to playing SS like Berkamp did back in the days
