Duelofeu will take tello's/cuenca/Afellay's place he wont be a constant starter like pedro/sanchez were. he is not ready for that.

He is more ready to take Pedro's role than Busquets ever was to take Yaya's for example.

I'm not opposed to getting rid of him. Good riddance. However, we should be able to 35 million pounds out of the guy at least, and probably should fetch even more.

Because we want the player out rather than a club wanting to take a player from us we don't want to sell.

But 30 million pounds give or take for a player of Cesc's caliber?

Wanting him out or not, that's low when you see Mata's and Ozil's going for more. Especially when you're selling to a team like Chelsea who can afford to pay more without breaking a sweat.

Because our board is full of morons.

5m isn't that much compared to the damage Cesc has done to us, i'd give him away for peanuts now and not complain

unless we actually sell one of pedro or sanchez and not buy cuadrado/reus or whoever else we are rumored with i don't see deulofeu being first sub.

because lets say were in a match against.. atletico madrid 9 out of 10 if both pedro and deulofeu are in bench, the typical manager would bring on pedro no matter left or right wing.

I would rather him be our first sub but it's unlikely given our roster.

I agree, its more likely to be as you say.

But for me, I would happily sell Pedro, sign a striker of some kind and have the South American trio starting with Deulofeu and a striker being great impact players.

For me, bringing on Pedro isnt much of an impact at this point.

I will be willing to sell him anywhere up 30 million...We bought him for 36 and getting 33m is not a big loss...
Its clear to everyone that he is now a surplus at barca. in this situation it is extremely difficult to up his value....Those who are saying we can easily up his value, think this way. what if no one is willing to buy him at higher cost. what would you do..its clear no one finds a better place for him here....Also he is not a player who would accept bench in 20 out of 30 matches...In this situations, what would you prefer...take 33 million or leave him on bench breaking team harmony. The potential buyers know this situation and wont up his price...otherwise ofcourse he could be sold at a better price....

you have other targets ofcourse...but please tell me you have suitors with reasonable price....i dont see though....
if you pay 40 million we receive 38 million...why should i bother about giving arsenal 2 million if this price is 5 million higher than 33 million...
