We arent linked to him as far as I know, but I want us to sign Pjanic quite badly.

He is a quality player and with all due respect to Roma, a realistic signing.

Veratti plays for PSG, everyone on earth wants Pogba and I am struggling to come up with other suitable names of quality.

We could gamble on Gungodan. Still young and could regain his previous form, and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and won't be cup tied in the winter

But of all i deff want Pjanic as well. I've been saying that for some years now

Pogba is a real possibility, the problem with that is we're most likely going to splash around 70m+ for him

and is he really the midfield we want?
he's an upgrade to rakitic but by how much really.

With the way Enrique plays he would be perfect. More so than Iniesta or Xavi as an athletic and strong mf would work wonders. Iniesta running back to his goal all game is nonsensical. Pogba would suit his philosophy and will signal a change in the clubs direction. Guys like Samper would be useless. In fact, Roberto suits Enriques system as he is a hustler and can run up and down a lot.

Barcelona have been deviating from the clubs strategy for a while, this is the final nail in the coffin. Better pray Laporta wins.

Fair enough, i don't watch much these days and when i do it's against big teams so there's more space so it probably looks better.

I'm talking about the general Barca fan not the smart ones. I overheard some clowns talking about possession as if it was a thing in itself, hell I've asked some of these Barca fans what Barcelona did under Rijkaard and I quote "they just gave the ball to Ronaldinho and he did everything"

People assume Barca of 09-12 is the default Barca now. It's weird. I disagree with you on Pogba not improving the team, an athletic mf would improve the team if only slightly than using Iniesta as a runner in mf. The football is terrible and is basically pray Messi turns up with something or we are *bleep*. I agree that your team won't control the game as Enrique doesn't seem to GAF about control.

I didnt say Pogba wouldnt improve the team, I said signing him wouldnt result in us controlling games better. One player cant do that.

I said we should sign Pjanic, so I certainly believe the midfield can be improved by a certain kind of play. One who plays going forward and isnt afraid to play in open spaces. Pogba obviously can.

That's exactly what we need, an over rated English player who can't hold the ball. That will really get us going back in the right direction.

Better than having pedro as a back up

for a backup i would like Dybala or Vietto for forwards.. but we also have some bright players coming through the ranks.

but having said that sterling isn't exactly horrible, and he has already proven to be able to work with suarez lol

We need Chadli the new Pedro. Work rate, some goal return, no star factor, plays on the wing, cheap. Only unknown is whether he can play as a RW.

Chadli wouldn't be cheap. This is Levy your dealing with. Sterling would also be costly...and honestly i would rather keep Pedro than spend money on either of them or even try Adama out (he's getting promoted next season). Adama would be ok being a back up, while Chadli and Sterling wouldn't (and certainly won't cost what a back up costs)

I like Dybala but he would also cost a ton.

For what they cost I would try and get Rues. But again....he wouldn't want to come here to be a back up lol. Unless of course we played a 4-2-3-1 but that's just not gonna work

reus is out of the question i think, he doesn't want a bench role, the other two might though they've expressed how much they wish to play here etc so they wouldn't complain too much i would imagine.

I agree with BC about the kind of player Chadli is, but maybe not him personally. He is good, but not someone who I think would especially well.

Supposedly the talks with Pedro and Inter were trying to work something out for Kovacic.
