PSG will sell Alex, Marquinhos, Cavani & Pastore to fund one more big money transfer IMO. Wonder what player it'll be.

Can see them coming back for Hazard.

Think they'll sell Cavani tbh. And I'd take him at Chelsea but that's not happening.

Cavani is not going to be sold... can't happen. Ibra is too old to take that kind of risk. They're only upgrading or replacing. Alex wanted too much money in terms of wage (out of contract) and Barca is asking for too much money for Alves. This also mean that Aurier is not a sure thing. So they bought Luiz and are moving Marquinhos to RB.

The guys on the sales block are Lavezzi and maybe Marquinhos if they want a true RB. Also, Rabiot may want to leave so there may be a need for a CM.

They may just as easil stand pat too other than replace the bench players that are leaving (menez and Jallet).

Personally (and many of the media in France), I'm very surprised by the Luiz move. It means that they don't trust Marquinhos to take over yet.

50m and Hazard would be sold.

Lets get real Mata was sold for less than that and he was a hell of a lot better than Hazard right now.

PSG could easily use "versatility" as a reason for overpaying for him. The guy can play both in midfield and defence. Mourinho used the same excuse when overpaying for Coentrao. If you battle it out with City for his signature I can see his price rising which is only natural in a market but beyond 30 ME and I think both will stay away

Yeah seems to me that if this Luiz deal goes through for that much then it inflates all other CB's. We were in for Lovren, imagine Soton pushing us for more than 20m now Laughing

what does Roma care about the reasons PSG use? Luiz goes for 50 mil, then Roma can legitimately ask for 40mil. again, they sold marquinhos for 35 mil. There are teams in europe that are looking for solid defenders, they will pay the money for those guys. Barca, bayern, City, United...

see that's the thing. He is not "only" a defender. If he was strictly a CB then Roma could say "well Luiz went for 50 therefore our Benatia should go for 40" but he is not, so Roma can't possibly use that excuse to drive the price up

LOL, well done you have outdone Gil in flip flopping. In the beginning of the season you tried to convince everyone Mata was worse then garbage. Now you are saying he is better then Hazard.

At one point i would have agreed Mata>Hazard, but we all know it was only a matter of time before he eclipsed the Spaniard. Hazard is better then any point in Mata chelsea career. Hazard is only going to get better when we sign a LB that is threat going forward, he is going to make a case for best player in the world next season.
Talent like Hazard is so hard to replace, with all of Mata quality he was replaceable.

the only advantage clubs going after benatia have is the fact that benatia would actually pressure roma into letting him go. they can be nice to him and make things easy, or tell him to shut it he is under contract

I have no problem with € 40M for Benatia. You don't get world class defensive talents for much less than that when you're a top club that doesn't gamble with South American talents all the time and develops them for 3 seasons until they become good. Unless you're lucky.

but if memory serves me right, he has said no to any move, hence why you dont see him linked to anyone anymore. he wants to play the CL and 32 games in la liga with his mates. If they lose the first round tho...
