Seriously Kroos is better atm, but Oscar will become a better player 2-3 years from know.

If we ever sell Oscar, i want us to sign either Sanchez or Reus and move Willian to the middle.

If we seriously get this scrub Felipe Luis over Ricardo Rodriguez then our board has some serious mental issues. Luis benched by all attack no defense Marcelol while Ricardo is tearing up being the best player for his country. Luis is going on 30 and Ricardo is 21 and would arguably be cheaper.

I think we're all questioning the motivation and wisdom in signing a fullback pushing 30 for roundabout £20m. Makes no sense.

It there was nobody else on the market then yeah it'd make sense.

Somebody on wagnh I think did the calculations and even having Shaw on 150k and signing him for £30 would bascially be the same FPP hit/cost per year as Luis due to him being so much older.

Makes 0 sense basically.

That's what I was going to say next. Even for as exorbitant and outrageous as I think Shaw's [rumoured] asking price is, I'd honestly rather put a bit more onto that 20 we're looking likely to shell out for Luis and just get Luke.

Come on we all know Marcelo is not better then Luis. Kinda like how Paulinho is starting over Fernandinho and Hernanes, but it is quite clear who are the better players.

Luis is the best left back in the world, he is no scrub lol. He is better then R-Rod and Shaw by a mile.

Luke Shaw rumored wages is the killer imo, 100k weekly for a 18 year old is way too much. Their pay always increases so imagine what he will demand in 3-5 years. Only United would be stupid enough to pay that type of wages.

Better or not Mehcelo still has his spot.

He is not miles better than Ricardo, Ricardo is one of the best chance creators in Europe and this season shone when matched up against players like Robben.

Fullbacks never go far past 30 so we're paying 20m for 2/3 seasons at best.
