Yea, doesn't everyone expect BMG to be bought out by a mega-rich sugar daddy and then start competing with Bayern for top transfer targets in Germany within 2 seasons?

More likely that Liverpool signing him, in any case.

Benzema in England would be like a Poor mans version of Ibra a few years ago.

I.E most think he's overrated and they all flip flop within a couple months and wank over him religiously.

Not neccesarily, 70 million gives them the flexibility to sign whoever they want. I think they'll prefer someone like Cavani.

I still don't think Arsenal is guaranteed, simply because someone like PSG or Monaco could just outbid them.

PSG have no need for BEnzema. Yes, if Monaco decide to get him, they can outbid anyone, but who wants to play for Monaco tbh? not sure it will be appealing for benzema to go back to france when he has offers in england and is entering his prime.

If he leaves, he will go to England.

@Sam, fair point about Cavani, not sure who fits liverpool more, Benzema or Cavani.

I think Cavani will be better for them.

Liverpool lack a formal line of attack right now, and it's mainly because Suarez is all over the place. But I think Coutinhio and Sterling are getting better and better, and soon enough they'll be capable of taking on that creative burden.

Even if someone like PSG signs Benzema (just an example) or someone else it opens the transfer market for strikers because right now no "proven" striker is out there for Arsenal to sign. We could make a bid for Cavani , or a good player which that club who signs Benzema doesn't need anymore but still a good player.

Real Madrid signing a new expensive striker if not directly it affects indirectly those who need strikers and I'm hoping that happens because as things stand right now, we're F'd.

Xavi claims to have received offers to leave Barcelona, but insists he has no intention of quitting the Nou Camp.

The 34-year-old midfielder has spent his entire career to date in Catalunya, having graduated out of Barca's famed academy system.

He has won 22 domestic honours during 16 years in the senior ranks, as well as World Cup and European Championship titles with Spain on the international stage.

Xavi insists there is no chance of him walking away from the club that has provided the platform for that success, with reports of interest from the Premier League and American MLS brushed to one side.

He said at a press conference ahead of Barca's La Liga title decider with Atletico Madrid on Saturday: "Exit rumours? I do not know what will happen.

"My idea is to continue here at Barca. There are offers but they do not change my mind."

Xavi has also been discussing rumours suggesting that a managerial change is in the offing at Barcelona, with Celta Vigo's Luis Enrique reportedly lined up to succeed Tata Martino at the end of the season.

He added: "It's all speculation. We are playing for the league and we can't think about that. There will be time later to talk about arrivals and departures.

"I have a good relationship with Luis Enrique but we need to respect Tata. The coach is a great worker who we value a lot, more so than people outside the club."
