Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
This is a very late poverty matchday thread, as Sepi fooled me
So go ahead and discuss.
Let's cook these chickens and serve them for dinner.

Walker is still injured. Need to take full advantage of Naughton, Horrible player. Adebayor will be back.
Rose and Naughton as fullbacks, Pls destroy them.

Re: Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood questions Liverpool's ability to handle pressure of title race
Boss's reply:
Brendan Rodgers hits back at Tim Sherwood and says: No pressure on Liverpool
that was ace
He said: "They're very, very close - one point off the lead and absolutely flying.
"They've got a strike partnership in Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge that's the best the Premier League has seen for a very long time, and they've given themselves a real chance.
"Now they have to believe they've got something that might fall through their grasp and slip away and - believe me - that's a real bad feeling to have because perhaps you don't play with the freedom you'd played with earlier in the season. I know what it's like myself.
"It all depends on how they can hold their nerve. City and Chelsea have to be favourites because of the players they have who've crossed that line and done it previously.
"But Liverpool have gone from seventh last year and must be believing they can actually win this Premier League title."
Sherwood claims he sensed signs of nervousness during Liverpool's victory over Sunderland in midweek, and with a seven-point deficit on fourth-placed Arsenal to bridge he said: "We're going there to win the game. The pressure's on Liverpool."
Boss's reply:
Brendan Rodgers hits back at Tim Sherwood and says: No pressure on Liverpool
"We're very relaxed," said Rodgers, who has overseen a huge improvement on last season, when his side finished seventh. "We're focused.
"There was no expectation on us being where we are, so there's certainly no pressure.
"I suppose the likes of Tottenham are a team who were maybe looking to be challenging for the league this season. You spend £100m-odd - it's a group that's set up to challenge.
"There's certainly no pressure on ourselves, and I think we've shown that over the course of the season. We're playing with no fear."
Sherwood's assessment came in the wake of a victory over Sunderland which saw Liverpool take a two-goal lead before conceding with 14 minutes to play.
Rodgers said: "We conceded a poor goal, which we've done this season a few times, and obviously it gets a little bit anxious.
"But I've got to give credit to the players because we showed the other night we can win in a different way. By the end of it we showed great resilience and managed the game well to see out the result."
that was ace

You 'fear' something might slip away and you 'believe' you can hold on to something. Now they have to believe they've got something that might fall through their grasp and slip away
What a moron.

Re: Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
For long we have been in the shadows. For ages we have been overlooked. We have been forced in stories of old and forgotten. But now it is our time to shine. Its for us to regain our place as the BEST THERE IS IN ENGLAND. It is our time regain our place amongst the greatest in Europe. The Liverbird has been silent for too long. Let it fly and let it burn all that comes in its path.
My friends let us not keep any stones unturned. Let us not hesitate to dream. Let us not be skeptic. Let us roar and bask in the light of glory! Tomorrow no matter who you are and where you from and what you believe . . . Tomorrow only believe that you are A RED OF THE KOP!
Tear your vocal cords for every pass. . bring down pubs, houses and roads on every goal! Roar louder then ever on every save! Bring down the mightiest of England to your knees!!!!!!
Cause my friends its our time to shine! It's time for the Mighty Reds to reclaim its throne!!!!!
COME ON REDMEN!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a bit of an overstatement considering we've been to the FA Cup final, Carling Cup Final, CL Semifinals, EL Semifinals, and have faced many league must win games since Athens.

Every game is a cup final, one draw and we hang from the edge with hope only. Win all 7 and its ours. pretty straightforward.

Re: Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
Our title rivals dropping points yesterday has surely given our players extra boost for this game, if any was needed. I'm expecting a big performance.
Like Hank said, it's pretty straightforward after yesterday's results; it is in our own hands now. If we win all of our games, we don't need others to drop points any more. Winning them all is easier said than done, though.

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm, there’s a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
And don’t be afraid of the dark

Re: Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
Very attacking line-ups from both teams. Luckily Adebayor isn't fit. Our full-backs need to have good defensive displays, I reckon, against Chadli and Lennon.
Let's do this!

Our chance creation could be better, but on the other hand we're defending well. This 2 - 0 lead is feeling pretty secure.

Re: Five Times European Championss vs Dim Tim's Headless Chickens
yeah for the first time, our defense looks so f*cking good but the amount of space we are leaving between defense line and midfield line. Just imagine if Silva picks up a ball in such a pace
