Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Saw Edge of Tomorrow. Did not enjoy it as much as the underrated Oblivion yet is was quite good in its concept and premise, to which may have been stretched out too much in the final third of the film with the profuse use of action yet definitely worth watching for the ones who have not. Tom Cruise again has the film centred around him and does not fail to impress, charismatic performance.
Smart use of locations going from absolute chaos in the dunes to a different frame in a quieter part of the UK, to which provided excellent perspective of the situation in a film and the comedic value was a bonus.
Quite simply a solid film in all regards. Tom Cruise shutting his critics up again.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
DC has a lot of movies coming up El Gunner, atleast according to Nicki Finke, who should be highly reliable on this scoop, which has also been confirmed by Latino Review.
2016 BvS
2016 Shazam
2016 Sandman (non universe I think)
2017 JL
2017 Wonder Woman
2017 Flash & GL teamup
2018 Man of Steel sequel
There's also talk about a batman movie in '17 or '19, which is obviously going to happen, since Batman is their most popular characters.

lol, it will flop purely for the reason that it will be compared to Nolan's trilogy and I highly doubt it will surpass those movies.
I really highly doubt this, it won't be compared to the Nolan trilogy. Maybe only by the ridiculous fanboys. If anything I think every DC movie will be compared to the Marvel movies instead, since it's a big subject of conversation for everyone in comic book movie talk. It's also diffucult to compare 1989 Batman to Nolan's Batman, since it's different universes and different Batman versions. Ben Afflecks version will also be much different, and older from Christian Bale's Batman, maybe except the last in Nolan's three, which is by far the worst of the 3. But this universe will be so much different to Nolan's, that I think they'll avoid a negative comparison.
The casting in the universe they're setting up, has also been so great imo (Gal Gadot excluded) that I think it'll deliver.

They handled the 'rises' tag really well. Still far behind TDK imo, which could be compared with any movie you want. It's basically a top thriller movie with Batman in it. Absolutely incredible and I still have doubts about a CBM which will ever top it.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
The Dark Knight Rises is illogical, showed a lot of problems with the plot that didn't make sense, and overall made me feel like Nolan didn't put his effort into it at all. The two first were much better, and I would call Batman Begins the best. Heath Ledger's performance is what makes it close though, out of this world. The Broken back recovery, travelling across the world in 5 minutes and making a flamable bat logo, and also the magical escape from a nuclear explosion were lazy plot construction and annoyed the shit out of me. Overall thrilling movie, but I wouldn't call it top CMB, already 2 out this year I enjoyed more in Cap2 and DOFP.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Just finished seeing Vicky Cristina Barcelona
typical Woody Allen movie. Kept me interested all along and had a somewhat unpredictable ending.
Really impressed by Penelupe Cruz there. Also the guy who played the Spanish guy, Javier Bardem, looked EXACTLY like my neighbour in Denmark, and I can see him being exactly like him when he's a bit older (Even same in the way he talks to girls).

As far as older Woody Allen goes, Manhattan is one of his best and certainly worth checking out. Features a young and enchanting Mariel Hemingway.

Got around to watching 300: Rise of an Empire.
Obviously not as epic as the first movie, but interesting enough from a historical perspective.
Eva Green easily the show stealer as Artemisia. Some excellent scenes with her that movie.

Deadpool Movie Teaser At San Diego Comic Con 2014 While Ryan Reynolds Leaves The Project And Wade Wilson To Be Recast!
The Deadpool movie teaser is going to be shown at the San Diego Comic Con 2014!
According to the report of the Comic Central City, Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox are going to put on a good panel for the fans by showing the Deadpool movie teaser trailer during the San Diego Comic Con 2014.
But don't expect actual film footage from the Deadpool movie teaser as the filming for the movie hasn't even begun. Comic Central City notes that fans should expect the Deadpool movie teaser to be similar to the Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser shown at last year's comic con where it was just 3d objects with a voice over ending with the logo of movie.
A few months ago, The Philadelphia Tempo reported that the Deadpool movie plot line is about a Deadpool from another dimension going into the X-Men origin timeline to wipe away the original Ryan Reynolds "Deadpool" due to the event having "universal repercussions". But with X-Men Days of Future Past effectively changing the timeline of the movies, the script would be rewritten to follow that storyline.
Hugh Jackman has expressed his interest on fighting Deadpool again and this has led to rumors saying that he is going to be included in the movie however these are just rumors and there is no word from Fox that Wolverine is going to be included in the Deadpool movie.
But the most notable news here is Michael Biehn being Cable, for a long time now, fans have been including him in fan casts and he would always play Cable in their fantasy cast and him being involved in the Deadpool movie is something fans would really appreciate. Despite the rumors that Michael Biehn was removed from the cast, that seems to be not the case in the Deadpool movie but as reported by the Philadelphia Tempo, Ryan Reynolds is not attached to the project anymore and Deadpool aka Wade Wilson would be recast.

Well, if they were so bad they're funny they could be, but they're just not funny in any way, robots acting like racial stereotypes and corny unfunny humor, and random shots of hot girls that belong in beer commercials..

I only see these movies because of the warm fuzzies from my childhood. I know going in for the most part these movies will be shit. For these movies are like the Wolverine and other comic book movies. No matter how bad I will watch them at least once.
FFS I saw Green Lantern and Ghost Rider in theaters. I can never get that time back
