0% of the blame being put to ThiaGod Silva I see.
GL If prime Maldini was playing today, he'd take 100% of the blame for all goals if he was next to Silva, the 2nd coming of Jesus.

Again, PSG played with 3 new mids and 3 new defenders... defense is as much about individual ability as it is understanding and being in sync with the other defenders and the mids. So Silva took a more conservative approach because he didn't know what to expect from his new teammates... He is absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the best CB in the world. When he knows his teammates and and can use his anticipation (his greatest strength), he just glides out there. Nobody is close.

Good god the obsession Juve fans have over Silva because it is general consensus he is better than Chellini and Barzagli
He is the best in the world, deal with it. Did you even watch the match?

Flicked in-between the two
Nevermind us, it's some Milan fans who treat him like God who can do no wrong. He NEVER gets any blame whatsoever, if his team are having a good game it's thanks to him. If they capitulate in defence it's because Silva and Silva alone was doing superhuman feats whilst the 3 beside him are pub team players.

Marquinhos let in Derdiyok behind him more than once that game, with Sirigu making a couple a great leg stop late on in the match. Sam even beat Marquinhos for his goal as well.
Silva was great, nothing at fault during the match. Hardly something you can criticise him by.

Yeah Marquinhos has been error prone... i blame it on lack of playing time. He was good when Silva was injured to start the season.
Jallet was by far the worst defender. Making sure that he maintained the tradition that Van Der Wiel started last year...

BS?
I have no problem saying Silva is the overall best individual CB in the World
But some of GL hype him up way too much, never once seen him blamed for anything which is ridiculous. You'd think he was Maldini reading some of GLs posts.
Then again Milan fans getting all nostalgic right now is understandable

The topic here is yesterday. Silva was not bad at all yesterday. He makes mistakes yes, in fact he has had some noticeable bad games this season but yesterday was not one of them. Blaming him for yesterday is in fact BS and not nostalgia.

Never blamed him, he was the best in an average defensive display
No he wasn't great, he wasn't outstanding
He done an ok job in a shaky backline.

Then why post this? He was not to blame and you just said it yourself.

He wasn't to blame over the other defenders, but he shouldn't be coming away as if he was compeltely faultless
He wasn't great, so some of the responsibility lies on him.
