I didn't watch Lille in the CL and I guess I just associated him with Newcastle so strongly that I'm still sort getting used to him with a potentially Elite club.
Not trying to say he isn't good enough or anything like that. The guy is quality, no doubt about it.

Pack ma's! Bayer only need to win 4:0, and in the PSO, Leno will be the joker who wins them the match.

coasted as expected with 7 changes compared to first leg... still won though lol. Playing St Etienne on Sunday, which is always tough. Needed to rest as many as possible and Blanc achieved that.
Great games by Sirigu, Lavezzi, Cabaye and Digne.

Lavezzi MOTM. Absolutely devestated Leverkusen left right and centre. Whatever his form may be in that isolated role within Ligue 1 but Lavezzi always performs in the Champions League whether be it Napoli or Paris. Excellent performance.
Cabaye a close second. Controlled the tempo and put in a dynamo performance. 2nd time in a row. Excellent midfielder.
Embarrassing performance by Leverkusen yet again.

Re: Paris Saint-Germain 2 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen
He was shite. Couldnt defend his zone resulting in 1434343 one on one and shots Sirigu had to save, of course stats doesnt show that.
Marquinho now i understand why a 34 year old Alex is playing ahead of him.

Lol Marquinhos was not bad at all. Alex is getting sold next summer that tells you who will be starting in the near future.

Re: Paris Saint-Germain 2 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen
Marquinhos was awful. The number of one on ones Sirigu had to save was more than 3. Positional weak display masked by a set piece goal.
Re: Paris Saint-Germain 2 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen
0% of the blame being put to ThiaGod Silva I see.
GL If prime Maldini was playing today, he'd take 100% of the blame for all goals if he was next to Silva, the 2nd coming of Jesus.
