AS Saint-Étienne v Paris Saint Germain Post Match Analysis.
Not much to discuss here. Carlo has annoyed lately with a somewhat unnecessarily deep and counter-attack tactics in which the pressing is near minimal and pressure can be invited more easily. ASSE may be the best Ligue 1 team at the moment as they are unbeaten in 2013 (based on form) and are absolute beasts at the Guichard. Excuse is that the fullbacks are continually exposed if the line is pushed higher yet even with this deep-set backline, these pathetic fullbacks are continued in being exposed. Maxwell is getting worse every game and suspected to being used since he is besties with Zlatan. VdW continues to start over a deserving Jallet and is diabolical every game.
What is pisses us off is how Sakho is being benched for this pathetic excuse of a CB, Alex, who not only was at fault for both goals (Maxwell for the 2nd) but scored an Own goal today. Unacceptable.
I've seen these things from Carlo from before. He takes some games too heavily with some meticulously detailed tactics in which some of the players simply cannot follow, especially this backline (bar Silva).
Zlatan was the best player for PSG with a goal, assist and some wonderful creative play. Aside from that? Matudi (which isn't surprising nowadays) and Beckham, who displayed some wonderful range in the same stadium in which he received his famous red card for England.
Still, PSG is 5 points ahead of Lyon.

i think chantome has to play when beckham is on... Beckham can't play in a 2 man midfield. Personally, i would have tried becks as a right winger as opposed to chantome... but that's just me.
Menez was injured too and that messed things up.
But yeah, carlo is really being too conservative. The strengh is obviously the midfield amd forwards... not a back 4 where 3 are called van der wiel, maxwell and alex. PSG should try and dominate possession.
