what on earth happened?

i must be living under a rock cause i thought goal.com were just being d**k heads by getting rid of that forum link at the bottom of the pg, thne i finally got onto the "old" forums and seems everyone's packed up and left for here

not that i really care which forum im on, its still the same people talking about the same thing, im just a bit curious as o why goal.com would remove/shutdown/whatever its forums and which legend set up this page

They are setting up some new Comment system after every article. So they decided to kill the forum as that would mean their comment system is the main source of user comment generation
