relatively "spectacular" stuff, can't remember anything football related like this. with some weirdos showing up at chelsea and bayern games it would seem likely that this is some adidas marketing campaign. but there has to be more to it than simply some new shoes or whatever...

Going to sunderland games, people in fancy dress is a pretty normal thing to see.  The annual fancy dress for the final away game of the season is one of my personal season highlights.

I'm loving this. Mixing two of my favourite things football + marketing. I can't remember a campaign that was ever as grand as this one. I'm kind of hoping they don't even reveal what it is. Just leave it at winner takes earth. Then start it again at WC 2018.

They definitely know more about it than they're letting on. They always report first on these appearances and always have the best pics, so I think they're in on it somehow.
