Any Hi-Fi guys in the house?

So with my recent bout of upgrading my living room with 56" TV, getting a set of Magnat and Teufel speakers, and me overall just going nuts throwing money at entertainment technology, I've hit kind of a brick wall, which is:
I have actually no knowledge of technology in the hi-fi department, I know nothing of amps, basically, so:
I need a new amp, and it needs to fit these specs:
- can't cost more than 300€ (400$ I guess)
- needs to support digital audio

That is all. I would prefer to get away a bit cheaper than 300€, but frankly, as long as I can afford it, and it supports digital audio (I need to feed my 7.1 surround system, and it'll get input mostly from my TV, BluRay player and my PC), I'm fine. I do want quality equipment, though (if such a thing can be had for that price).
Currently I own a rather decent Yamaha analogue amp that my dad gave ma few years back. The sound is excellent, but it doesn't have a digital audio line in, so f*ck that noise.

Any recommendations? I did like the Yamaha one, but I'm not a fan of any particular brand, I'll go by most value for my buck, basically.
