Mourinho on Pellegrini's comments about Chelsea's spending:

"I don't have to repeat myself a lot, but everybody knows what Manchester City are. What I would like to say is that, for example, Pellegrini was talking about the money we've spent. I think he's a fantastic coach, and I respect that a lot, and on top of that, outside his football career, he's an engineer by qualification. I don't think an engineer needs a calculator to do Mata £37m and De Bruyne £18m, so that's £55m. Matic is £21m and Salah is £11m. That's £32m, and 55 minus 32 is 23. So Chelsea, in this transfer window, generated £23m."

Moar mindgames. Mourinho got fleeced at Tesco when he bought a loaf of Kingsmill 50/50 for £1.39 when Asda are selling the same loaf for 22p cheaper, so he's doing this now to distract the media from his poor grocery shopping prowess

Imagine the feels on here if Mourinho wins the League this season. Remember when Man City were going to "walk" the League?

Doesn't matter. for me personally what matters is that in Madrid aka the hardest job for managers he sucked for 3 years. getting outplayed by other managers and trying to hide his weakness by blaming other people. so after 3 years of bitching and blaming others he left.

In Spain other coaches would kill him if he says something bad about them so he was scared to say a word lol. blaming press and forcing Karanka to do the his job.

now i know why he loves England so much. he can say stupid things, he can be a hypocrite and he can park the bus all the time but instead of calling him out they call him a genius.

he is the reason why we are a force now. we were nothing for 6 years in Europe before he came.

With the title race going into the final few months, Moanrinho has launched his rhetoric campaign to unsettle any manager/team that he sees as a threat.

Pellegrini just happened to be managing a club that is one of the title favorites.

Its funny how his spell at Madrid is supposedly deemed a failure by quite a number of people. Tell me ONE coach in the world who would have dominated THAT Barca at their peak. Even the great Sir Alex got completely outclassed on the grandest stage....TWICE.

Yet Madrid still won the league breaking records in the process. I don't think there's been a single Madrid manager in the past 10-15 years who Madrid fans and/or the Spanish press haven't had something entirely negative to say about. Hell, they ran Del Bosque out of town. Amazing.

I'm almost 100% certain Carlo will be chased and tagged with some sort of negativity when he inevitably leaves Madrid.

The "glamour" behind that Madrid job is a smoke screen. One of the WORST managing jobs to have in football, all things considered.
