Where do you see Pellegrini in the coming years?
What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
It would not be an exaggeration to say that he is one of the top free agents in coaching. His record at City is respectable and he is likely to leave the job with another league title. Where do you see him coaching in the coming seasons? Back to La Liga perhaps. Valenica is a viable destination with Gary Neville doing a shit job. A shock move to Man Utd would be interesting. Maybe Serie A if Inter or Milan have disastrous ends to their seasons and sack Mancini/Sinisterovic. Chile NT seems like an obvious answer but he said that he is not going to coach them any time soon but obviously he might change his mind with recent developments.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
Chile INT will try to get him, but I think he still wants to coach club football. I could see him at PSG if Blanc leaves. Other then that Mancini keeps falling down Inter maybe an option. If Zidane fails maybe a return to Madrid? Most likely he'll go to Valencia tho.

If I were United I would make a move for him.

Valencia could really do with an actual manager next season. Lord knows Gary is such a complete fraud. Um, for some reason, I think he might go back to South America. Not entirely sure why I am thinking that.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
I think he'll stay in the PL, maybe United or Chelsea? If he's going back to Spain then Valencia would be a possible destination or Atlético if Simeone leaves.
I think it's going to be Atlético.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
Why would Simeone leave? Everything he has stated so far points at him staying. And leaving for a non champions league club? Impossible.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
Don't see him at Spurs. Feel Pochettino is staying there for a long time. Yes, Chelsea could get him or if they get Simeone he will go to Atletico
Maybe if Hodgson flops badly in the Euros and the English FA finally sack him he can coach England. Out of the top national sides, they are the only ones who I recall used foriegn coaches.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
I think he should coach Deportivo La Coruna and make them great again . He needs to prove himself imo , winning stuff in England and the PL he had it easy all this time , it took Guardiola for him to leave .
I think he needs a real challenge in his hands , if he gets any top club he will be taking the easy way.

I get that youi're joking, but are you seriously saying this about the guy that took Villareal to CL semis?

Since you get that i was joking , obviously i said and meant nothing seriously . But i'll humor you , just for the sake of it .
He got to play Panathinaikos in the quarter finals . Obviously he would get in the semis.
Completely besides that and other than that , i don't think any less for him and i fully rate Pellegrini as a top coach . Would gladly have him to coach Milan .

oh you're talking earlier than that , in 05-06 , i had forgotten about that
np my bad there. In any case , it was just a silly joke , could have been any other top coach and would have done the same thing , nothing really to do specifically with Pellegrini

While I totally appreciate the humour, one small snag there Dante: he kinda already proved himself in La Liga.

and i agree he did . it's just.. it was just .. a joke

Would be glad to have him at Milan but yeah , there's no chance whatsoever . I actually can't even begin to guess what he would do after City really
I think he would do well to remain in the PL .
As for Valencia , i was thinking a few days ago if they would sign Benitez in the summer . If they won't consider him , surely Pellegrini will be very high on their list

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
Jardim is doing a meh job at Monaco.
I can see Monaco going for him and I think he'll definitely go there.
Also I think Serie A is more than likely his next destination.

Jardim or Pellegrini you think is likely to coach in Serie A? You don't make it clear , (do i miss anything?)
Serie A would agree with Jardim , i think , however i doubt he would be competing for top honors in Italy . Could see him coach Lazio or something if he ever arrived , not much more . Pellegrini could in theory coach any club in Italy , though i am not sure why would he go in Serie A in the first place. .

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
I reread my post. I could see why there would be confusion.
Jardim is doing meh.
Pellegrini could go to Monaco or to Serie A. I think both would be good fits.
Though you bring a good point about Jardim in Calcio as well.

Re: What next for Manuel Pellegrini?
Yeah i remember Jardim from when he had joined Olympiacos in Greece , before his time at Monaco . Frankly he was getting results with particular emphasis in safety and good organisation at the back , with a few words , but the spectacle was missing and the fans didn't like that at all . Pressure eventually lead to him being fired half the season in , always thought it was really undeserved , but anyway.
In Italy his style would translate very well at the right place . Not in the big 4 , but almost anywhere else surely.
Pellegrini i can't tell where exactly he would be a good fit , but surely he can easily coach anywhere within Serie A. Perhaps at Roma , or Inter , if they even happen to need a coach in the summer . For Milan the only truly good fit right now is Conte and he won't join . He's close to Chelsea if we are to believe reports , but even then , doubt he would be overjoyed to work at Milan in any case , he really could do much better than accept to work for CR7 of directors and Silvio with his attaccare stuff .
Let alone how Galliani pissed him off with that thing with the NT , lol can't believe his stuff anymore . Yeah piss the only man in Italy capable of sorting your mess out , good idea
I suppose he will surely be a very real candidate for Juventus if they don't keep Allegri , don't know for what reason that would be .. Tbh unless Allegri himself wants out , i am not sure why they would look elsewhere .
