Out of those only Olympiakos, City and United won something last year. Collectively the 8 teams won 4 trophies.

^Our participation depends on if we finish 7th and Sunderland doesn't win the COC. We'll be busy with Europa League qualifiers instead.

Re: International Champions Cup || USA
Manchester United - Real Madrid confirmed to take place at the University of Michigan Stadium aka "The Big House in Ann Arbor.
I've already got a ticket to go. Should be fantastic.
Game is expected to break attendance record previously set at the 1984 Olympics Gold Medal match between France and Brazil.
I''m not really so sure that will happen though...especially if both teams are missing their major stars, which they likely will be depending on the WC.
Either way, Milan was the last major club to come to Michigan and even that drew almost 60K people. This one is just one I can't miss.

Finally got my ticket for the United-Real match in the mail. Think I'll need to take the train to Ann Arbor...traffic and parking is expected to be absolutely horrendous around the stadium.

Re: International Champions Cup || USA
Charlie Stillitano, a Milan supporter, organizes this wonderful tournament. I get to speak to him occasionally, on the radio. He is a guy that has access to some of the most important people in the sport, and he is a really nice guy, no delusions of grandeur. He was also a really good friend of Giorgio Chinaglia, another guy I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to.
