Re: End of International Football?
Doesn't mean all that will be applied. Rummenigge has been pissed at International football ever since the Robben injury and Bayern's shitty form.
There ARE some silly International friendlies that should be eliminated, though, IMO. We have some guys playing 50+ games a season.

Re: End of International Football?
Wrong title. There is more chance of club football ending if anyone try to end international football.
As for the posturing of Rummenigge and other big clubs is just for more pie of revenue from CL.They are all getting more and more greedy and want a larger pie of the CL revenue system which is very good atm. When they get that agreement all this moaning about friendlies and corruption will disappear.

The CL isn't changing, they are complaining because of useless international friendlies and players constantly getting injured in International duty, which makes sence.BeautifulGame wrote:Wrong title. There is more chance of club football ending if anyone try to end international football.

Ferguson even pushes for his players to retire early so they can focus on club football. Some coaches just don't give 2 shits about club football and focus their energy in their clubs.
