Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Al Jefferson is playing very well, offensively.
But his defence is worse than ever. He doesnt move his feet at all, look at the Lebron highlights..total abuse on the screen and roll and all Al chose to do with swipe aimlessly at the ball as Lebron went to the bucket.
I like the guy because of my fondness for post scoring in a league in which its very rare, but his defence is insulting lol

I give it to Harden really, he's not even got no crazy wingspan like Durant, no amazing driving game like Wade, but any given night he'll shoot 10 free throws. Frankly, it's amazing.

I just read, it was 65' not 85'. If so, my guess would be the Big O.
And yeah, why it didnt cross my mind to pick Magic or even Bird (if it was 85') I dont know

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
The thing that pisses me off about Harden is his decision marking and laziness on defense.
I get why people get annoyed with the cheesy shit to get to the line, but quite frankly like with diving in football i don't care anymore as every f*cker does it.
What really pisses me off is his decision making as a primary ball handler he makes far too many turnovers and idiotic ones too...
I mean that lob to Howard from beyond half court was so f*cking dumb.... for starters even if Howard took it clean you know damn well that he would have been fouled as soon as he took it down.
Now Howard had a good night IMO but you can't trust him at the line, for starters what was there like 10 seconds left? just make them foul you and go to the line.
It was a moronic decision and could have quite easily cost them the win but luckily Howard and Parsons did a great job in defending the next possession.
As for his defending i don't believe he can't defend but he's so god damn lazy, firstly in transition its like he's jogging in the park ffs and he clearly doesn't defend that hard 1 v 1 on the perimeter either.
He could learn a lot from Beverly honestly, once he improves in these factors i'll shut up but until then he's really gonna grind my gears lol.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Harden wont ever put forth the effort on D, no question in my mind about that.
I said already, even as a Rockets fan, I dont like him and the way he goes about playing. He has some of the most unstoppable offence moves in the game though, no argument with that.
I didnt watch the game btw, so my view on him is based on previous.
I read Lebron scored just 3 points in the 2nd half (22 for the game) what the heck happened?

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Fatigue, he sat out like 7 min of the 4th.. Didn't look good at all
2nd game of a back to back after dropping 60 is tough for anybody, but more so for someone who puts in as much effort on both ends of the court as him..
Playing D is really tiring, I think most people (including Harden) don't play D because they think it will take away from their offense..

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Pacers are starting to get on my nerves.
Since maybe the beginning of Feb(?) they have been so lacklustre and slow.
Struggling really badly right now and I refuse to believe it's because George Hill is out.
On way too many occasions they are running the Knicks like offence (give ball to Melo/George and wait and see).
They should be getting the ball to David West more often, Lance has cooled down severely, Hibbert ain't really that much of an offence option (he should be at least semi decent but he ain't for some reason, his defence has also been bad during this stretch) and George isn't playing like he was at the beginning of the season.
This No.1 seed thing that they keep preaching, if it blows up in their face......
Just sort it out.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Meh he was good, just not Lebron good.
Part of it was good D, when ever Rockets had the starters out on the court it was very difficult for Lebron to get easy points.
He really had to work hard for the points he got other than the odd basket or two in transition, nothing came easy for him last night.
Not that surprising with Beverly at the point and Jones and Dwight down low protecting the paint, Parsons did a good job protecting passing lines and suffocating the ball handler on the perimeter too.
Honestly the only time i saw Miami get easy points all night was when Dwight and Beverly were off the court.. Asik just isn't the player he was last season and Lin is not that great defensively anyway.
If i remember correctly Miami's bench outscored the Rockets by at least 20, which sort of tells it own story.
Honestly just for the most part Rockets just did a great job defensively, Bosh got hardly looks at all night long.... which says how good their defensive coverage was.
Wade was good but again from what i remember a lot of his points either came against the 2nd unit or from the line, nothing easy came his way.
Beasley was probably the best performer lol and Allen gave some nice punch off the bench... Birdman was great defensively too with 5 blocks.
But again that's the 2nd unit and Miami had a clear advantage there.
So Lebron probably was tired, but it shouldn't be ignored how well the Rockets starters dealt with him throughout the game, the only reason the game was close was because of the two benches production disparity.

No denying he put on a shooting display. He was hot. Let's not forget, he was playing the Bobcats. A sub 500 team w a match up nightmare.—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Where is the Defense? The Bobcats put up 107 points in a defenseless display of basketball. Offensively who was there to make Bron work on D—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Why are we not talking about Al Jefferson and the MONSTER night he had 38 and 19! Yes, like I said, Bron got hot & put on a shooting clinic.—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Watch the film. No close outs on D, doubles were late, rotations were slow. It was too easy to score. At 54 y/o I could drop 40 on that D—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Bron is a freakish athlete, yes, no doubt. I could say I was too in my prime, but averaging 30 then against the greats like Bird, MJ, King—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
AND having to guard them on the other side was an all out war. You were dogged by halftime and had to pick it up & do it again the 2nd half—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Let me be clear again, amazing shooting display, he was on fire and VERY efficient. My point is the Cats didn't work him on the other end.—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
It isn't just about slow rotations & poor closeouts. Who made Bron work on the other end w/ Henderson hurt and Al carrying the team?—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
Was this enough to now thrust Bron into MVP vote leads? We forget the body of work KD has been shouldering when Westbrook goes down?—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014
My take is not knocking Bron at all. It's really more so about the game & how it has changed.—
Dominique Wilkins (@DWilkins21) March 04, 2014

He mad
Why didn't he go off for 60 against teams that didn't have a Jordan, Bird or King then?
I'm tired of these old timers talking about how the game was better in there days, just shut up.. Sure they might have been 'tougher' guys back then, but the level of skill is far greater now

Is Wilkins serious?
How many tweets was that just, to apparently make 'one' point?
I'm also getting tired of the old man rhetoric. It's annoying.
It's the Scottie Pippen syndrome imo.

Not really he's 100% correct lol.
Don't disrespect Nique brah
Game has changed, it was the first thing i drastically noticed after not watching for years.
Also disagree about the level of skill, there's players now that excell at one thing and garbage at other facets who would have been kicked out of the league for not having the fundamental basketball IQ.
Are there more skillful players? sure but on the whole i don't agree the level of skill is higher, the average player is not more skillful that's for sure.
Also i don't believe for one second Wilkins said that the skill level was higher, he's just saying that defensively its way off and he's right so your just creating your own argument to suit your player and yet still failing
