Pretty sure I read Kobe hint that he isnt going to play.

I dont think it matters how the mix works. During the game its quite easy to get either Harden or KD at the 3 for the duration.

When you got for example, Lillard, Parker, CP3 and Curry on the roster its fairly easy to find the minutes in the guard position. Both Curry and Lillard like to gun anyway.

And up front, you could consider Howard, Cousins and Davis all 5's and Love, Blake and LA the 4's and work from there. Its tough trying to split minutes 3 ways but it always ends up every year 1 or 2 guys playing like 8-10 minutes only.

Anyway I dont know who is going to replace Kobe but really I think more important that where players play on paper is who is deserving. The West is stacked with options so I think if someone is selected it has to be on merit. With the talent on the roster, you can figure everything else after.

I like Gay, but he had to many issues with the Raptors early in the season to ignore when trying to compete with guys who were MVP mentions (Davis, Aldridge) or dominating all year (Cousins, Love, Griffin).

I wouldnt be upset if Howard got thrown off. Houston's defence was better last year when Asik was in there, so basically all he has been is a more athletic version of Asik who scores 8 more points. But still, he gets it over Gay for me.

That's how I feel about it anyways.



On another note, while noone is matching Melo's hot half...Duncan did have 14, 11, 2 and 3 blocks at the half. Up to 16 and 13 now early in the 3rd.

Lowry is a rebound away from a 3 quarter triple double.

Griffin has 10, 5 and 5 and he has played not even 15 minutes yet.
