wilshere is new messi

Usually when I see him dribble it ends with him losing the ball though.
Great technique, and passes, and so forth, and good looking, and English, but he should cut down that dribbling a bit. His decision making for when to make a dribble is not very good. imho.

Played deeper. Was corcened about his positioning. Something was holding him back from taking on defenders. Whenever he was on the ball felt comfortable. Every time he went forward arsenal looked dangerous.

it started with him being compared to Xavi and somehow now worked it's way up to Messi xD

Pele was great didn't ronaldo and mesi emerge. Comparison are bound to happen. You ppl still don't understand the comparison started all the way back at nou camp in arsenal vs barcelona. It will continue off course there are lot if other factors but I will completely ignore them like premier league vs LA liga, like barca vs arsenal players.

Wilshere's playing style and burst of speed works best from the middle of the pitch to where there is any space in the final 3rd.

Messi operates further up the field where his movement drags defenders with him and has the dribbling and ball control to get past a defensive unit bracing themselves to deal with him in that area, Wilshere cannot do this (nor is he expected to).

Even if he is able to score more goals, Wilshere can be regarded as a very dangerous attacking midfielder, but not a virtuoso "false 9".
