Played my first Crucible matches today after waiting until I was at least Level 15. I'm Level 19 now. Got wrecked a few times, but did well enough once I got my bearings. My reflexes are awful though.

Play Control at first. Much more easier to play and not as much pressure.

Dat mission with the sword ffs.

Took *bleep* ages, great game though.

Love that mission lol.

Just use the sword to spam man. Instant kill for the little shits and use ur super charge with the sword on the princes.

Yh I didn't realise at first that super charged worked with the sword

Kept doing it like Floyd, hitting a couple of strikes then ran away

Tried my first weekly nightfall with thimmy and a mate

We nearly did it twice but those Psions are an absolute pain in the ass. Their shields

Plus they spam spawn right infront of you lol.

We can do it, but it's time consuming so gonna leave it for later. Was a lot of fun though.

Before I decided to play multiplayer, with mixed results.....

Lol i remember me and thimmy smash this mission within 2 mins. Boss came out, 3 shots = dead didn't even get to use super charge.

What do you think of crucible though?

Oh btw, Venus might be too difficult. Specially the last few missions so tell me when you do it and i'll help out

Crucible was good tbh, I had some good games and some bad ones but overall it was decent. Should be better when I have better shit.

Sorry for being Childish and extending the countdown for Crucible, while in Orbit I was about to go on my alt, but it was too late when the game started counting down for Crucible.

I cried the first time i went down to beat him ffs. I love to kill him though.

wait till you try it on level 26+. Those Wizards will eat you in 10 seconds. However there is a glitch place which I will show you some time. My mate asked me to hide there because I kept dying lmao.

How do you get Ascendant shards btw? It's bad enough I need about 80 helium filaments for various upgrades but I need like 40 Ascendant shards too.

dismantle legendary armour, do the weekly heroics, or get lucky in crucible or farming loot chests

Dismantled 3 legendary armour pieces and got hadronic essence thing all the time lol.

The Iron Banner starts Tuesday (and Queen's Wrath ends).

With legendary armor you get both the class-material and shards for dismantling it.

People were getting shards too easily from dismantling Queen's Wrath rewards, so it got patched - you don't get shards from dismantling them anymore (assuming that's what you did)

My group and I beat the Raid on hard mode last night, this is a picture of us afterwards.



It was a huge mistake trying hard mode when only one of us was level 30 and the rest of us level 29, because you get seriously punished in this game for going up against enemies who are a higher level then you, even though it was just one level difference. It was made worse by the fact that there's no respawns or revives, if you die, you're dead until the next checkpoint, unless you're a sunsinger of course, those guys can resurrect themselves. God, I should have stayed with my original plan to go as a Warlock, oh well.

We pulled through though, and I got that hard mode exclusive ship, which is useless, but hey, now everyone who sees it will automatically know that I beat hard mode. I was actually looking up some of the Destiny achievement stats, and it turns out that only 0.1% of people who own Destiny have unlocked the hard mode achievement/trophy.

Wooh! I am the 0.1%!

Think if i fully upgrade all my armour i'll be level 29.
